OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Need some events in the MIDWEST as well! (WISCONSIN family here)!!!
Go Midwest! We'll have to create our own (with guidance, of course, from the experts!)
Awwwww- I know ladies. I think we will be in NYC for the rest of 08... but in 09' who knows? Navy tells us where they want us to go. Once I learn anything, trust me, you'll know!

:)
I heard rumblings about maybe a California or OREGON thing ------- oh wait I think that was the rumblings of my tummy :( Nevermind !!!
But I still think it would be cool over in this part of town ~~~~~ hint hint !! LOL LOL LOL
Gee - I wonder if our New York office needs any "help" that week...LOL
I agree with Linda - tell the Navy the Midwest wants them! (another WI mom!)
Heh heh, I'm thinking of a major event in GL where all of this started. Can you imagine thousands of mom's decending on RTC? But then again, we might scare the RDC's so bad they would tuck the recruits in at night and read them a bedtime story. That wouldn't make them strong, confident sailors. lol
Alright now your just rubbing it in miss Lizzi ~~~ Darn New Yorkers !! LOL LOL LOL
Couldnt think of a better mom then you to attend everything !!
Hugs to you Chicky-poo
Well . . . Arizona is having a potluck in the Phoenix area on the 8th . . .
We just go ahead and plan our own stuff instead of waiting on NFM to get around to us . . . LOL:)!

Seriously . . . who's up for a potluck in Tucson - January 24th, 2009? I'm thinking we may need to meet at a park with the way we've been growing . . . and the weather should be BEAUTIFUL:)! Come on down . . .
It would be a good idea to get hometown N4M "recruits"...then you could have representation throughout the USA....There will be lots of local Veteran's Day events around the country that could have have N4M tables or even just people there to spread the word about N4M...I know in our town the traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall will be in town...there will also be programs held at lots of schools....Just a thought....maybe some thing could come of it by next years Veterans Day...
Thank's Robin. I will pass that along. Sincerely, CC
