great looking pcs Quilt!

I have finally downloaded some photos.  I got this thank you note yesterday from the Blackhawk unit.  Waiting for permission to post the photo that he sent me.

Sue,

Thank you for sending us all those amazing pillowcases!  What a great idea.  I was handed boxes of these after one of our soldiers, Jxxxx, received 5 boxes.  He asked for my assistance in handing them out.  I have started the process to and these soldiers are amazed with the dedication, care, and thoughtfulness that went into them.  To show my appreciation I have made a small collage of a few soldiers choosing their pillowcase.  Your organization has touched the heart of many soldiers.  Thank you.

Warmly,

I heard back from the soldier in Kuwait.  this is what he said about posting his photo that Diane, Birdie's friend made him:

Hello Sue,

Thank you for the kind words and for founding Heads at Ease....such a great name and service you provide to us.  I am doing well this deployment, my 5th....but first deployment since I was married ( last year ).  I have been in the service now for 18 years, all Army, and am currently looking to go to school to become a Warrant Officer.  I am planning on serving for 30-35 years....or as long as I am fit enough to serve. You absolutely have my permission to use the photo....I posted it to my Face Book page and can now use it as my profile and add some info as to where it came from...smiles.  Thanks again!
