Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son will be stationed in Norfolk in September. He is in Pensacola right now at sea school. He will be on the USS Kearsarge. We are from Amherst/Vermilion area. Is your son a ship? 

Im from Howard OH it is about an hour from Columbus OH. My son is also in A School at Goose Creek SC.

Hi Diane.....my son is also at Goose Creek......class 1205A, he went down there in October. We are about 1.5 hrs northwest of Columbus.

Kjschoen HI,my son is class 1207A.he also went in Oct. His PIR was 10-21-11. Is your son coming home for Christmas? Our home town is really Howard we are north west of COlumbus.

Sounds like my son was just ahead of yours....PIR 10/14. He will be home for Christmas...got a flight to Dayton on 12/21.

Will yours be home?  

He will also be coming the 21, but to Columbus

Mine is mm. Is your son having any trouble with math?It is funny that we only respond every 21 to 22 hours. Do you have anymore children? We only have one cant believe he is a sailor.

LOL.....I have 4 kids,,,,this one is the third and only son....hard to believe he is a sailor! My dad was a Marine and my son-in-law is Army but so far he seems to be doing well or at least thats what he tells me :)

my father in law was NAVY and my dad wasARMY but not really military family. i cant wait until next week my son says he wants a home cooked meal instead of going out, so ill get everything ready before i pick him up at the airport.my son just said yesterday that he was glad math was over for a little while.he really tresses about final grades , it started in high school. i hope you have a great visit with your sailor. i think you and i are the only ones on this sight that have anything in common ,oh well thats fine with me . i enjoy talking to you . I live in Cleveland my Daughter just left to BC 4/17 her PIR IS 6/15.
