Amanda, Your boyfriend will send a form letter to someone that will have all the information on it.

Amanda, I was also told you could contact his recruiter in a couple of days for the mailing address. Letters should come in about two weeks, Sundays are the only days they can write. All information will come in the form letter as well.

Hey Amanda, welcome to the world of Navy SO's :)

I'm not sure if the form letter/box will come to you or his parents but I live in So Cal and my husbands box came the following Thursday (he left on a tuesday).  His form with his division (address where to mail things to him) and PIR (pass in review date) came the following week.  Then a letter just came after 3 weeks in a half of him being gone.  I would wait to receive the form letter before you mail your man anything because some times (which just occurred) the recruiters addresses are incorrect.  They don't mean for that to happen but with the Navy things can change.  Also don't be scared girl we're here to help you.  Add me or message me if you wanna chat.  This place has totally helped me from going all kinds of crazy :)

Take a deep breath girl, it's all gonna be okay :)

Also, depending on their RDC and their division, they might or might not be able to write to you every Sunday.  My husbands division got into a lot of trouble so the first sunday they could write was this past one (March 16th and he arrived February 26th).

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you. But I'm trying to figure out when the graduation would be. UGH I'm missing him like CRAZY!

Kateelynn count 9 fridays and you'll get like an estimate... it'll be either be a week sooner or those 9 days.  Mine happen to be sooner, thank God!

so its either 8 or 9 weeks?  ugh i hope its 9 weeks and he does too because I am doing an internship that ends May 16th. And if its 8 weeks then it would be May 9th. But when do they get to call again?

It depends girl cause my husband didnt call me until this past Sundag (3 weeks in) and it sucks but girl you'll grow from this. You'll definitely learn patience cause that's what I'm learning :)

Hi Amanda, my boyfriend left for bootcamp on the 4th of this month, and I didn't get his letter until yesterday (3rd week in). He called me to give me his address about 2 weeks after he left. They'll be able to call on a Saturday, so make sure you don't miss that call!

Thank you guys so much I'm just so scared I won't here from him and it's freaking me out :(
Amanda you'll hear from him girl just stay positive. When it get that first phone call it'll be beautiful. My husband called me last Saturday and we laughed almost the entire time about just life :)

The number of guests allowed maybe 4 but it could be no more than 3 if the number of divisions are high. These are the guests who are allowed inside the hall where the ceremony will be. You can still go to PIR, you just won't be in there in person at the ceremony. You can stay at the hotel, wait for him to have some time to spend with you later on. It would be difficult for his parents to replace one of his siblings. If you can't be there, ask your boyfriend to buy you the dvd. If you two stay together, there will be many other ceremonies for you to be together.  I would also recommend that you do not neglect your own career, education, friends, family.
