Hi Diane,
This is Janet and I'm from Winter Park, Fl; hello eveybody, this is so cool....Diane let me know how can I help to make this group a success!!!
Anything Janet....I have been a member of this site since Feb 08 and I have looked...searched long and hard for Central Florida moms...just to get together with.....So ideas...?how to organize? mtg place? ideas....
My suggestion is a lunch...on a Sat afternoon..late lunch....

Well anyway...why don't we start off with introducing each other...
Sailors-what they are doing in the Navy?
Where they are at?
etc etc
Brag moms brag.....!!!!
oxoxoox
My son is an Aviation Electrician, he is station in Lemoore, CA since last july. He got enlisted in the Navy, sept 07. Where is yours? He is coming home for the holidays?
Mine sailor Shawn is currently deployed aboard the USS Rodney M. Davis! Very proud here...
No won't be home this Holiday, we can hope for next year though!
this is so cool to have found all you moms in central florida. i cant wait to start getting together in person so we can really talk, share stories and pictures.

whenever we decide to meet. how does panera sound. they actually have a seperate meeting room that we can get together without anyone bothering us

GREAT...Pananra sounds perfect to me!!! NOW....let pick a date...
I say lets pick one now because this way we can all plan accordingly!!!
Jan 10th or the 17th...??
What do ya think!!!
im good on the 17th.
My son, TJ, is a Nuke on the USS George Washington; his home base for the next three years is Japan (when he's not out to sea). Sadly, he's not able to join us for the holidays. I live in Winter Springs, just outside of Orlando. I'd love to see a group for Central Florida Moms on this site. And I love the idea of a get together with everyone! January looks good for me; Christmas time is busy at my job and getting extra time off is unfair to my boss (way cool boss, the kind that makes you want to do a good job). Just list the day, place, and time, and I'll be there....ready to laugh, cry, brag, etc!
i will try to make it depending what my 14yr daughter dance schedule is for january....
Ok Girls...January 17th at "A" Panera near US....lets just settle on a panera...{spell check me on that LOL}

Nay...ya know i am talking to myself, pay no mind...I am not a crazy lady..Just alot of info and need to say it, so I talk to myself.. {come on-we all do it}
Anywho...I was gonna say...Should I start a blog ...on our get together or we can all just check in here. And I decide, Lets just check in here..
So girls Mark your Calendar.
When: January 17th,2009
Where : Panarera..?

OK when we have a "Panarera" location I will put it up on the Events calendar!
Oh girls this is just a dream for this NAVY mom. I have been wanting a Central Florida Get together for such a long time..So thanks for fulfilling one of my dreams. As you can see I only ask for little favors...LOL
Till we all meet
xooxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
