Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

David passed! 30-minute phone call at 6pm this evening. So great to finally hear from him after 3 long weeks!
Moving into academics phase now....more privileges and phone calls! So proud of all our LO's!! :) -

Do you know if they would call on Sunday between a certain time? I don't want to get too far from the phone.

I've read in other posts that some got calls early on Sunday morning since they secure the phones at 9pm (21:00). I am keeping you in my prayers that you will hear from her soon!! :)

I read in one post that calls were made from 1:00 - 4:00pm. But I've read a lot of different opinions in posts. Thanks so much and I hope we hear from her also. I don't care how early or how late it is, I just want to hear from her!

jlees, just keep your phone close by. It will most likely be in the afternoon or early evening. They have an axam on Monday, so they might be busy studying too.

When James called while i was at work (i snuck off to the bathroom to answer his call) he said that phone calls would be made in the Afternoon and Early evening starting at either 1300 or 1400 and go until either 1900 or 2100. He said he wasn't sure on that he says it's AT LEAST 1900 for the lastet. Hope that helps clears some things up! :)
