My fiance is in class 14-10. I got to talk to him for about 5 minutes last night and he's already lost his voice! They have to yell everything at the top of their lungs! I'm in the Navy also and I'm so used to being the one who leaves! I'm the one who has to tell everyone else not to worry, so its really weird being on the other side of it!

I have been wondering if there is a new Ensign named Looby? She would have been a nuclear sub designation. My son started in class 12-10 with her and helped her (along with the rest of 12-10) class up into 14-10...he would really like to know.
Snowmc....Looby has been in med-hold for quite some time now. She has had major problems with her hip. She was in 14-10 for awhile....hopefully she will class up in a few weeks. She was very well liked in 13-10 and 14-10. She has been sorely missed! Keep her lifted in prayer for a successful recovery and continuation through OCS!
Thanks for the update. Talked with navyboyfriend last night and he gave me the update also. Its wonderful how this community supports each other so well.
Does anyone know if the Hi Moms video for 14-10 has been posted on-line anywhere? I love watching them!
Not to my knowledge.....I forgot to get the DVD from my son when we left Newport. I wanted to go ahead and upload it. I have, however, posted a few videos from the graduation run, eating by the numbers, and the graduation itself on YouTube.....just go to that website and type in the following in the search box: Navy OCS Class 14-10. The quality is not the best in the world, but they are still fun to watch! :)
I believe the video is on YouTube; not only for HiMoms but for all other events. My son graduated on May 7, and one of the other moms on Facebook posted it.
My son gave me the video before we left Newport. I have watched it twice. Wish I knew how to make a copy of it. Maybe Walmart.
Our son was the one that helped / edited the 14-10 video so I will ask him if he can / will post it online if that's allowed / possible. He's traveling today to get to Pensacola and report in this week! Newport was such a great ending to a new beginning. Blessings to all of those in 14-10, our prayer of protection goes with you wherever you may land.
Hi Annie! If your son is an NFO, please joing the NFO moms discussion. My son is also in Pensacola waiting to start IFS. Good luck to your son and safe travels. The journey is just beginning!
James just finished SWOS and we have him for a wonderful 10 days before he has to join the Ashland. Then I will have 2 sons out at sea. I guess other moms have survived this. I am not going to think about that until I have to.
