I found Navy for Moms just after my son left for bootcamp end of July, 08. I was looking through the Great Lakes site and clicked on "Navy For Moms". What a blessing, it got me through bootcamp, and showed me how moms networking through this site were truly a family and a team united!! While at GL graduation, I asked every mom I met if they were part of N4M, and when the answer was no, I told them every awesome thing about the site, and what it had done for me personally. I recruited quite a few moms, I wish I had a way to tell more moms.

Just last night I saw a Navy for Moms commercial on TV, I couldn't believe it, That was awesome guys!!!!
Tammy,
You are certainly right about this site! It wasn't around when my son was in BC, what it a relief it would have been for me if it had been. I found it when he was at his A school in CT and have been here ever since. I am thrilled with this site and the wonderful women I have met here and the dad's too! ;0) I tell everyone I know about the site, and asked the computer tech at the school where I work to allow it on our system so that I can access it during the day on my plan periods.

my 11 yr old son saw the commercial and told me- i wish i'd had this when my daughter was in boot- it would have been great to really talk with someone going through the same worries- i'm sooo glad you're here now for these moms and families-
I believe I saw it on TV-an ad that has stuck with me. So, I looked y'all up and have joined. What a great website!
I saw the ad you have been running on TV lately and I love this. I wish this had been around years ago when I was a new Navy wife and had no idea what I was getting into.
Thanks
I found out about this site because of a commercial on TV in Colorado Springs. I think that is amazing because there's like NO Navy here. It's all Army and Air Force.

I've also been to www.NMOL.com ....Navy moms online.

glad to be here!

I found out about navymoms.com on tv on a commercial. I have been looking for a website like this since my son Ruben joined the Navy, last year. I am so thankful to the person who started this website. Thank you again.

I found out about the website through a tv commercial. Ever since my son joined a year ago I listen to everything regarding the Navy that comes across the tv, computer or otherwise. I heard it one night and waited for it to show again to get the address correct. I love my son very much and I miss him greatly, he is the one that can make me smile when nothing else works, and bless his heart he calls and texts me when he can, but I still wonder what he is doing from day to day. I am proud of him and amazed by how much he has grown, but still wish I could spend my time with him in San Diego and not stuck here in Texas. Thank you for this website it is exactly what I have been searching for!!!!
I found out about the site from an ad on TV just last night.
I was watching TV and saw a Navy commercial or so I thought...it turned out to be the Navy For Moms commercial. I wrote the internet address down so I could check it out and see what it is all about. I first logged on yesterday and can't seem to stay off. I am totally addicted! This is an awesome site. I just hope that the other branches of service have the same sort of thing and if they don't they should.
LOL Terri, You DEFINITELY need to check out this discussion thread . . .
