Any news for Navy Week?

Kaye,

I would love to help. Cant be there everyday but want to be involved. Thanks.

I am getting more information from Molly's Adopt a Sailor for the Aug. 20th packing party.  Quite excited!  Remember to start writing your cards of encouragement now, and if you have any younger kids at home who like to draw, keep them busy!  Nothing makes those deployed more happy than getting a "boatload" of hand written notes and cards decorated from the heart.  Right now, please go to your post office and ask for a small stack of the LARGE flat rate military boxes, customs forms and the sticky plastic holders for the customs forms.  Will also need priority mail tape or clear plastic tape.  Lots of stickers for cards and boxes.  I'll have the requests of what that month's group needs soon.

Can't wait to meet you at the packing party!

It'd be wonderful to have several moms attend the lunch for the Habitat for Humanity crew.  But, if you can't be there in person, we still need food sent (we're serving 15 sailors).

I still don't know if free tickets will be available for the Indians baseball game on Tuesday night, but will post as soon as I do.  Of course, you can message me or post any questions you have.  Thanks! k.

Details on the Packing Party for Molly's Adopt-a-Sailor! We'll be joined by Sailors in from the fleet and afterward, we'll grill out and play some friendly BINGO.

You can help by:

1) Attending with your family.

2) Bringing a dish to share.

3) Contributing gift cards as prizes for our Sailors.

PLEASE LEAVE AN RSVP HERE - WITH A COMMENT OF HOW YOU'D LIKE TO PARTICIPATE. I'll make sure you get the details you need. Thanks! Kaye S.
