So are they all body snatchers in that division/ I'm still confused about that.
No idea - I only know what my husband writes me :-/

My son is Ship 02/ DIV 932.  HIs PIR date is 7/1, the centennial.

We got our first call yesterday and he told us they will be performing in the two ceremonies prior to their own so that means next week we should see pictures on facebook (I hope).

My son is 6' 5" so I know we wouldn't have trouble picking him out in the crowd, but he was promoted from drummer to drum major, so he'll be standing tall right out front.  We're so proud of him.

I'm so glad to have found Navy for moms because as the parent of an only child, this has been a difficult transition for me and it's nice to find some kindred spirits.

Congratulations to all you moms (and other family members out there) on your recruit's tough decision to stand up and defend their country in these difficult times.

Congrad to your SR and I know you are proud.  Hope you can take pics of the band and post.  My SR should be playing the sax for your Sr's PIR.  He is red headed if he has enough hair to tell and wears glasses.
where do you find these photos?  there are a lot of Facebook pages and I'm want to make sure that I'm looking at the right one?  Thanks ladies.  My son is Ship 02/Div 946.

aggiemom, I know nothing about the facebook page, I've never been able to find the ones I've been looking for.  I just had to reply because you're aggiemom.  I'm assuming it's TAMU Aggies you're talking about.  My son is part of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2008 (whoop!)  We're from Oklahoma, but I've certainly become a fan of all things Aggie.  Good luck to your son!

No - not those Aggies.  Sorry - my Aggies are our high school mascot where my husband, myself, and both my sons go to.  We are very involved in the athletic programs there.  My husband was the wrestling coach for a very long time and helps with football and baseball too.  Not as big as the A & M Aggies - our school only has about 700 kids in it - total (like all three schools - elementary, middle & high school)!!
I thought I'd found another Aggie Mom!   When is your son's PIR?  My son PIR'd December 3, 2010, and is now in Charleston.  He graduates from power school on Oct. 7.  He's got a countdown on facebook, so I know that's 44 days from now!

He graduates September 30.  He's Ship 02/Div 946.  He's got another 35 more days.  Then I'm not sure where he will be going to A-School - he's going to be a Corpman so I think that is in San Antonio.

Hi, look up US Navy Recruit Training Command, and that has lots of updates on what's going on in Boot Camp.
