Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Marines CLB 6

My nephew is in this group of marines (stands for Combat Logistics Battalion) and they will be deployed soon. 

The total number needed 700:  36 females, 664 males. 

 

We will be mailing in waves to the different companies.  Once I get the breakdown of numbersby company, we will decide on the mailing dates.   At this point in time, it looks like we will start in late August with a very small possibility of a late July mailing.

 

Watch for further details.  And ladies, "start your machines".

A company 152 male- 6 female  ship date 8-10 thru 8-13

 

B company 154 male-  5 female    ship date 8-31 thru 9-3

HQ 239  male-  19 female  ship date 10-5 thru 10-8

Do we have labels to put inside these (like for the Bush)? m'smom... I still haven't received the address to mail my 20 (I can have them ready to go by the end of August as you requested. I will do only "Male" found some great hockey fabrics this past weekend at the Quilt Haus sale in New Braunfels, TX!  Labels for the outside? Thanks.

 

Also, Hobby Lobby (a Christian company) has some Christian prints!  I have some with the Fish symbol on it that is tans/browns... I could make one for the Chaplin himself...

We are just using the general HAE label.  It is in a pdf under one of the other discussions.  You can either e-mail me (cullenjoye@msn.com) or Sue for the address.

Sue said she had some prints that would work for the chaplain.  Let me talk to her and I will get back to you on that.

Ok Ladies- the good news is the second and third shipments are all taken care of.  I have ILovemysailor, Birdie, Cindy and Sue on the third shipment.  Ladies if you can't make it let me know.  Now we just have to work towards the last and largest shipment.

Last shipment Dates are 10-5 to 10-8.  Let me know how many you can send.  Note for that one should say they are for HQ and how many are in the box.

m'smom. I thought I was schedules to send the 19 females in the last (HQ) shipment. I need to do that one because I am scheduled to send pcs to the Nurses in Sept and Nov. Let me know what I need to do.

Lyn, are you able to do all 19 for the females for HQ?  I had you down for 16 and I was doing 3.  but you can do them.

Yes, I can do them all. I also have some shampoo and body lotion to send with the pcs.
