For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

From Molly: Hey Moms ---- we are having some wounded guys coming our way. Would you like to make a thread and those who would like to send a card or messages to our wounded ones.
If you know of someone in the military "hurting" and needing a "special hug" - PM me (Brenda Sue) the address and I'll post it in our "special place." I do ask that you keep us updated on the condition or change of address of anyone that has a lingering need.

I am going to keep these names in one place - so people don't have to read through hundreds of pages to find them. Go to MAS We Ship Love (Click Here) for the addresses. This is a private group - just ask to be a member and after you have been "checked out" - the powers that be accept you!
Please use the labels designed in the "Shipping Labels" discussion so they will be easily recognized!! You can either print these on stickers or just tape them to the envelopes. If neither is possible, just write Molly's Adopt a Sailor on the envelope - so they know where they are coming from.

you know when I was going into the VA with Susan I was so scared I would say the wrong thing , do the wrong thing, I didnt want to look at them and cry,yet I didnt know how solum i need to be - to show I cared. Susan told me the PERFECT thing ----
Dont treet them any different then you would anyone --that is what will make them uncomfortable.
So I didnt act in any way different ---
Shoot Ross and I talked about skateboarding, something he will NEVER do again. Yet he told me the great places he skated, the kind of board he thinks my son should use when skating in japan.
I was going to shake Chris hand --- instead I reached down and kissed his cheek (lol caught him off gaurd, but thats what I did to say hello) -

Thank you for sharing that Staci! It is so true... I first went to the VA to see if I could be of assistance to Ross and Chris... I find myself leaving filled with a calm knowing that they not just face, but embrace their life! Too often we get caught up in the every day motions of living and forget to appreciate all of our blessings! These heros remind me to cherish every moment! Celebrating with them gives them honor and pays tribute to their dignity!
