Thank you so much.. our family hasn't taken a road trip in a long time and I know our 12 yr old son would do good to see parts of the US other than TX, Colorado, and New Mexico and DFW airport...
Yes, I drove up at the end of June for my son's PIR Graduation. It took about 15 hours. I live in Allen just north of Dallas. We did the trip in two days up and straight thru home. Wasn't bad at all....actually a very pleasant trip... the only real traffic we had was Chicago..You will absolutely enjoy the graduation...an experience of a lifetime....hope you have safe travels....
Hi to all. I live in Saint Jo, Texas about 100 miles from DFW. However, I am originally from Grapevine but we moved out to the country after retiring from the Navy. Daughter left for BC on June 28th and I just received THE BOX today. Son is also on active duty in the Navy and stationed a NASJRB Fort Worth.

We went to the airport on Monday to see Eryn off, and met about 10 other very excited recruits heading up to Great Lakes as well. Congratulated them all, and sent them off with our prayers. They were all very excited despite the fact that the flight was delayed because of the storm. Is there any other moms whose recruit left from DFW on Monday? It is very likely that they will be on the same ship/div.

Best Regards
Susan
