Hi Cathy - you've come to the right place for information!  I left links to groups in the Welcome message on your page.  The boot camp group will be able to get you through the 8-9 weeks of boot camp.  And as soon as you get the official letter (usually 9-14 days) you can join the PIR (graduation) group for your son.

Hopefully he has been preparing himself both physically and mentally for what is ahead.

Also, please change your user name as no last names are allowed per OPSEC.

Hang in there!

I don’t think my user name is wrong? Proud mom, I am not up on all this blog and conversation pages.

My son left last week and I cannot believe how hard this is.

Sams mom- I had a hard time when my son left 10 days ago. We live in FL., but our families live in IL. We just came to IL to visit everyone, we are about an hour away from GL, we want to drive there and just look! How Pathetic right? He’s are baby, my caboose

we received his box the day we were leaving, now waiting on the letter to tell us about graduation.

I hope you’re feeling better, one week down
