My daughter is also 12/356!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the first person I have seen with the same numbers!! YEAH! Please contact me. I am new to this site and don't really know how to use it. I may never find this post again.. LASO!! if you know how to message me please do. We can support one another and update each other.
When my daughter sent her box home it held her address book stamped addressed envelopes and her pre-paid phone card. That was our experience, yours may be different. She was also called "a mamma's girl" by her recruiter as our family waited (there were other recruits waiting from other branches with no family) in the recruiters office for her ride to L.A. to be sworn in and shipped out, we were told we could not attend this ceremony and I found out on this website we could have. So there are no perfect scenarios. These recruiters are just people, folks, flawed and human, disappointing, but you can't hold them accountable. Welcome to the military.
I looked through all the questionnaires I could find. Since I just had shoulder surgery (on my dominant side!), these make writing my SR a LOT easier. I borrowed, added, and changed them to make a questionnaire that can be sent for those SR's that aren't/haven't received mail. I'll post a copy here. Feel free to use it. The better the morale of the entire Division, the better our loved ones will do! :-) Other%20SRs%20General%20Questionnaire%20for%20N4M.rtf
