Hello there. I am a navy mom. Welcome to the site.

1. San Diego. It's a beautiful area. The weather is wonderful. The people typical California laid back. Don't bother to pack much - flip flops, tee shirts and jeans. Unless you want to go the mountains. CA is a big state - lots to see. Be sure you drive up the Coast Hwy 1 (phenomenal scenery), see yosemite, the desert, San Francisco Bay. If you want more hustle, you could venture to the Los Angeles area - do the touristy stuff, see the movie star houses. Interestingly enough more shows go first to Los Angeles before that they come up to the San Fran area (where I live).

2. Here is a group to join to connect with those w sailor on the USS Ronald Reagan

Here is a group for USS Ronald Reagan wives, fiancees but it's inactive. You could join it and send out a "group message" and perhaps it could be revived.

3. Here are a few groups geographically oriented.

4. Here are a couple of groups for wives.

Post a comment in the groups and inquire if anyone has a sailor on the Reagan or if they are stationed in San Diego. Good luck. Although I don't live there, I have many family members in the area and if you have a question, I will try and find the answer for you.  On housing, another Navy wife would probably be more knowledgeable.

thank you so much for the information ! I really appreciate it and I'll definitely keep in touch with you I'm sure I'll have some questions in the future :)
