OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hadn't thought about all that, but I can see where you're coming from. The discount card would be great ! By going to
Savannah to buy fabric, I am in a big city, they don't know me, if I bought a thousand dollar's worth of material over a week's time, they wouldn't realize it was me coming back everyday,to even know to offer me a discount, the store is so big and has so many employees.
you could mention it to them, but most of the east coast stores said no. Let me see what I can do. That's why I am willing to mail fabric because Joann's has blessed me so much with the discounts.

and I am a big bargain hunter. love thrift stores and have some great fabric there too.
Chris RT (Reactor Training) has 9 male staff members. students come and go so don't have number for them. There is also the RL division which has 2 females and 18 males
Sue, My son's division is the same as Jackie.
Ladies all of this information should really be posted and discussed on the active thread so as to keep everyone informed.

hi Stepanie, My son's Squadron is VFA - 34 Mick or Michael. Goes by Mick. Thanks!
My sons squadron is vfa 34 Greg
Hey Lisa. So is my son. come and join us at Heads at Ease which is where the squadron information is being done. look for the thread "Sue's heart-USS Abraham Lincoln".
I would like to see if i send my sister material if she would put some of these together. I do not sew, not a good thing. Patience is needed for this craft! LOL
Is any material we find ok to do? Love the pictures here! If she can, where do we send them too? Also, how do I tell Stepanie Alice the info on my son and his Squadron? This sounds like so much fun!
thanks!
On the pillowcases. I dont sew, but have asked my sister to invest their time if I send them material. But, if I find some fun pillow cases at the store, are they ok? Or is it best for all of them to be homemade?
Cosmos recently we completed a couple of projects one where some took white pillowcases they purchased and ironed a transfer onto them and then we bought pillowcases and tie dyed them for another group. It is the love and support that is sent with each pillowcase that matters the most.
Oh, that is a wonderful idea, like the idea of Tie Die! Thanks Matts mom!
