Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

prolley i guess the div is not working well together...also no mail today holiday...so hopfuly later this week :D
I was thinking the same thing. They might have gotten into trouble and couldn't even call on Sunday when that is supposed to be the day they can communicate with the family through calls or writing letters. I am hoping for more mail tomorrow! It is back to running to the mailbox again. How is everyone else holding up? Are you all counting the days to graduation like me?
no letters this week for me from my PIR. It is just discouraging because I have no idea how he is doing because I have yet to recieve any letters other than the phone call we all recieved
K- did he say he wrote a letter when you talked to him last week? He may not have written one, so be sure to ask him when you hear from him again. I knew ours was coming and it came the day after the call. If he did write, I hate to think it got lost in the mail. So many unknowns but I'm sure they are real busy and he would give anything to be able to call you when he wants to. Hang in there - you are not alone. ♥
yes. he said he has been writing since sept. 19th, and was putting them in the mail when I talked to him last. I am afraid they got lost in the mail. Hopefully tomorrow will bring something
K-Glad to hear you got some mail. Yes, they are learning tough stuff aren't they? Having to work at being a team. My son said they are always waiting for the females, typical huh ??? Gotta Love ♥ Em.
hello everyone, got 2 letters today and they were L O N G especially for someone that doesn't like to write. He has enjoyed reading our letters that he got since we last spoke and it seems things are clicking and some stuff is boring and some things fun. He never knew he could miss us so much - WOW !!! Got dog tags, got to go to chapel and even told me what was talked about ! More upbeat and informative which helps us. Said it would be another week till he would write again - something to plan on.
Nola ♥
That sounds positive and something to hope for. I didn't get a letter today and was starting to get worried. I sure wish they would let them call us again. I keep waiting. I feel better now that I heard that you got a letter and it was long.
I do hope you get some sort of communication this week, if she got to write a letter on Sunday you should have it soon. I seem to remember my son saying when he called last week that it would probably be 2 weeks till we heard from him again. I think they are all still learning how to work together and they are working on a DIV flag which they are excited about. No, we can't blame all the females for holding things up. That's not fair especially the ones that are on top of things. Can you imagine getting ALL those guys and gals on the same page and cooperating together? Sheesh!! what a job !
Anyway, getting late - better get some sleep. Always forget we're all on different time zones but we can always catch up here..
Thanks Nola, You are too funny and I can't wait to see the whole division graduate and how proud we will all be! Can't wait!
Tomorrow you will have to tell me about the DIV flag is and what they are doing with it.
Have a nice sleep.
Well, they are designing their Div flag and he said it is going to be amazing. HOO YAH 366 (his words, not mine) . One side of the flag will be a traditional mom & pop side and the other side is a fun side, which they have enjoyed since they can be creative for a change. Wish I could share all the detailed info he sent but there is so much. I got a giggle out of hiim saying that the group that went to church was late because of the females like usual. HA HA !!
They got dog tags which they were excited to get and he only notices he's wearing them when they have PT.
any one from TEXAS????
