Hey I'm wondering can someone answer my question. Will my husband get paid on every 1st of the month or will they split it up? His recruiter didn't specify he just told me expect his money in our bank account on December 1st.

Payday is the business day on or before the 1st and the 15th.  The first check is rather small as they have to pay for items they need during boot camp out of that.  The housing allowance (BAH) will take a couple pay cycles longer to be processed; first you get a lump sum backdated to his first day, after that it comes half in each payday.  After 30 days there will be Family Separation Allowance, which is $250 a month.

Don't forget they take out taxes on his base pay.

Will it at least be enough to cover our bills? Or is there any way I can check to see how much to expect because my income alone will not cover them.

Very likely not.  A lot of times, the creditors will suspend a month of payments (or two) if you let them know he is in boot camp.  Cell phone service is best about this, and I don't know how your landlord would react, but you should certainly ask if they are willing to do so.

Also, the check on the 15th should have a larger amount.

okay thank you

Do you have kids kielovestez? Im not trying to argue but the recruiter told us that no taxes would be taken out, im pretty sure I got the BAH on the fisrt check. The amount I got was more than enough to cover my bills.

No taxes?  Perhaps not state taxes in some states, but I assure you federal and FICA are taken.

No ma'am it's just me. How do you all deal with missing your person. I'm crying every five minutes. I write him but can't send the letters because his things haven't been sent back from basic yet. I know it's only been 4 days but it feels like a lifetime and he told me don't expect a phone call for 3 weeks. This is a nightmare and I'm so lonely.
All I can say is just push through, everyday is a little closer to him graduating. Let the tears come because it will make you feel better. Try to have fun because if you look back and realize you were just floating along while he was gone you might regret it. Andrealize he will likely be gone again in the future. That sucks too, but this is a good oppertunity for him and for you, he gets to have a kick ass job and you both will now get an interesting life. Plus my husband and I have beentogether for six years total and I can say the distance and the letters have brought us closer. One more thing is resear h everything ask questions and joingroups. Im sure his pir date has a group on facebook and here if you know it already.
You probly wont know it for another week , when you get to read his letters and hear his voiceall this pain will be worth it, if he is anything like mine

The Page, When Will the Recruits be Paid? and Information for Spouses, has important information for you.

The first pay will not be in the account until the 15 December pay period since it takes about 3 full weeks for everything to be processed. He will be paid from the time he was sworn in so that pay will be for nearly a month minus the incidentals.
