My son is in Division 937 and I am already so excited to attend PIR. Has anyone made their hotel reservations yet or am I the only one so anxious she did it BEFORE receiving the official letter?

So far I've only received the "I got here call" and "the box." Reminded me of birth -- naked they came into civilian life and naked they left it for the Navy :)

What a journey we are all on together!

He is going to be a GM Gunners Mate. He's staying in Great Lakes for A school.
Kathy(momof'IT'Marshall) - I'm having trouble finding the Facebook page you started. Can you provide the link or something to help. All I'm finding is the N4M's.
Thanks Kathy. I found it.

Got our flight, and we dont arrive in Chi till 8;30 PM at midway, we are debating on staying near the airport that night and then driving early in the am or staying close to the RTC it is an hour and a half drive. and I will have my 7 year old who is austic and not a fan of change, so we have been talking daily about the airplane and such.

Anyone else get any calls lately? I only got the one, but my phone has been glued to my side, I also know they are getting ready for Battle Stations o that may be it too. Ugh so close and yet so far.

Hi All,

I had originally booked rooms at the Comfort Inn but moved my reservation to the Ramada instead.  I just cancelled 2 rooms from 7/25 to 7/30 at the Comfort Inn if anyone is looking for rooms.

We got one letter last Tuesday (July 10) and nothing since. We haven't had a call in a couple weeks. It is SO close!

That reminds me, I have to print our parking pass!

My last letter was on the 12th - nothing this week. :(  I guess they are crazy busy!  Last letter was 4 pages...he wrote a little every day for a handful of days since they dont get much time.  Just the two calls...cant wait for the SAILOR call!!  :)

Rumor has it Div 936 did BS yesterday, So maybe ours was today or tomorrow? Lots of (well a few that are part of the FB group) congrats going around.  I HOPE (fingers and legs crossed) we get "The call" in the next couple of days. (From my fingers to Gods ears))

When we will know if they do BS.  Is it the week of graduation.  My SR was  in 936 till a week ago and got moved to 937 so I am anxious to know what is going on

Hi kdmac, friend diannep or me and we can send you the date that we heard through an inbox message. BS dates aren't supposed to be posted publicly.

Ok I figured out how to friend you so all you have to do is accept I hope

OK Mommas and wives, get ready to CHEER!!! My SR just called and Our Division, Yes that is right, Div. 937 WON the CAPTAINS CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep that is right.....

They won a trip to what is called Recruits Heaven, there is candy and soda, tv music, etc.... and they opened the phone banks for 10 minutes. So my son grabbed a phone. Oh I was sooooo thrilled.
