OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 6/23/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED -  Vaccinations still required

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Got a short letter from my SR, dated 9/4, she says they were still in processing days and would not start officially until Tuesday because of Labor day.

I got a letter from my SR yesterday-he is going to carrying the Missouri state flag. So good to hear from him. Hope everything is good with your SR.

We got a call from her looking for security info, she sounded good.

I talked to my son a few days ago needing security info as well he sounded good.   I am praying for our SR's that they all make it through the next six weeks

Hey, ladies I work in the mornings at my job and I am not able to play the FB games with mixed up on Mondays and trivia on Tuesdays.  I hope some of you all are able to play I would like to see pictures of our division.  That would be so sweet to see our SR's
We will try our best Carebear! Right ladies?

Hello,  My son is Ship 02 Div 949.  Glad to find this group to join.

Hi and Welcome GnVA.  So glad to have more Moms.  Good luck to you and your SR.

Welcome GnVa, looking forward to more letters from our SR.

Thanks greenoak!  I am trying to read everything I can find so I know what my SR is doing.  Miss, miss, miss him.  It is nice to know others are in the same boat.

Got another call from my SR regarding security, hope all these calls are not giving her grief, she sounded tired but ok,

It's great that you are getting to speak with her though. What is your daugher's rating?  I bet these kids are tired.  I know mine was used to staying up all night and sleeping most of the day for the last couple months.  I am anxiously awaiting a call from my SR.
