Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 021 & 022

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Any body get a phone call yesterday or today?

nothing yet...anxiously waiting

Me too! You'd think my husband & I were newlyweds the way were sticking together waiting for that call!

I hope it comes when we're home!  Good luck JW!

Hello everyone I am new to the site but excited that there are others that I can share with. My S.R. did get a call home on Saturday and I was super excited to hear his voice finally after 5 weeks he is in DIV021.

That's great  luv! My son is in div 022, they are supposed to be able to call home yesterday & today. Still waiting!

I am not sure exactly how late they are able to call. But about 3 weeks ago my boyfriend called his mom as late as 6:15 pm or so. So do not give up and have faith!!

someone on the fb group said she got a call at 9:30 pm Friday. not sure what time zone she was in in relation to theirs though.

Yep that was me!!!  Got a call from my son at 7:30 Pacifica Standard time (equals 9:30 for Great Lakes :-) ) He was saving a 10 min award call to wish his little brother happy birthday.  Missed talking to his little brother as he was out to dinner w/ Dad...... boo for his brother :-( We had a good 10 min and was a wonderful conversation.... physically he's doing fine, mentally it is getting to him.... reminded him is only 3 more weeks and he can do this!!

I am finally in the process of making my graduation ribbon after spending probably a combined 3 hours in various craft stores!! Haha. Plus I have to make a trip to the jewelry making store Wednesday.. one long project!

Has anyone with SR's in Div 21 received calls since Sunday?

I received a 15 minute phone call from DIV022 on Tuesday.  My husband said they have been really busy. .But for sure probably next week with Thanksgiving and Battle Stations coming up very soon!

DIV 022 So our SR's didn't score to great on their Drill so they have to work really hard to get that back up.  Looks like they are all pretty much on the same page when it comes to inspections...still 4.91 highest in their Recruit class.  less than 2 weeks to go folks!!
