In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 337 & 338. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Hi Leslie, My son is in Ship 03 Div 337. His letters have been short...and short on details! Thank goodness for all the others parents sharing info...or I wouldn't know anything! I hope it helps you to know that you're completely normal! Hugs to you, debbie

Hi there! I'm about to die to run to the mailbox! hahahaha I'm thinking I should get a letter today. Well, we are at least getting much closer to Oct. 12th. I'm still praying for a phone call. If you hear anything about DIV 337, let me know! Stay strong and huggs!

Ladies, ladies, ladies!! I got a letter today AND the questionnaire back! In his letter (very short-just half a page) he said that div 337 isn’t doing very well with inspections. He said their scores are suffering bc of “slackers”. However, he said he got 3 PERFECT scores on his inspections. Hopefully our boys can bring up the div’s average a bit =)
On the questionnaire he said that they won the honor flag for athletics! From what Nathan has said I am very happy that they’ve won at least one flag!
That’s pretty much all the info I got. Since the letter was so short he doesn’t say anything detailed about what they have recently done but I’m soo happy that he is doing so well individually!!

Good evening - we got a letter today from our SR and he let us know that the fight never happened and the division is good. Cant wait for the 12th - 2 weeks away!

I talked to my son yesterday and he also said there was no fight. Interesting... he said everything is good and he misses us, but mostly misses his dog. I am glad to hear about an honor flag!!

I got a letter today!!!! My son said that he was promoted to a Section Leader!!!! Thank God he is doing well. He said the same thing about his division, many slackers and no respect for authority, but they are getting better. I'll take anything positive!

Hello Everyone,
My son called tonight at 9:53 for 3 minutes. We almost missed his call both his dad and I were asleep. Good thing I left my cell phone in our livingroom and not in my purse. Our older daugther happen to be over and heard my cell an answered it. He did not say much but we where excited to hear his voice. He is still working on swiming. We are praying that he passes the swim test so he can graduate with the division . He is ready for bc to be over.

Hey guys I was at Great Lakes over the weekend for my sons PIR and saw division 338 marching past. I wasn't fast enough to snap several pictures. But I did get one of the end of the line. Maybe one of you will recognize any of them.

Hi I'am new to Navy Moms & computers !!! Wish I would have known about this site before my SR left !!!! I wanted to thank you ladys for your encougment & your heartfelt concern for others it has ment so much to me ! I have felt your prayers your words of encougment!! THank you . My daughter is on Ship 03 Div 329 I started looking around and reading on her Div but there is not much chatting or sharing as much? I have learned so much from reading your post & the few short calls my daughter has been able to make. It was so good to read that some of the other kids are getting to call home & have more writing time. I understand that some SR in this group are not getting with the program as fast as they should ? They have to learn to work as a team!! I pray they will get it together before there final test this week!! Please pray for them all! It makes it harder on all of them because a few are holding them back!! I don't post much new to FB.but I will try. I'am here reading now. I did read past post the last two weeks. I read that a few of your SR are going to A school in Pensacola are daughter will be going there too. She was able to vist there in July she looked around some of the school. Went to the Naval Air museum I will see if I can find her pictures. She was there for the Blue Angles weekend. You can watch them practices there routines on week days!! How cool is that! I have a cousin that lives in Ferrys pass pretty close to the base she is hoping she will be able to go to church with them some of the time she is there. The beaches are very beautiful ! We hope to be takeing her car to her ASAP if allowed? We have family in Tallahassee 3hr. Away so will be going there for thanksgiving I think .. Will. Let you guys know encase your Salior needs anything we can help with or take to them.. We live in Oviedo FLA. in the middle of the state 7 hrs. Away. She has a little brother that will need to see her as much as we can before she gets orders! They are 9yrs. apart he was born with special needs but they have a very close bond. We hope to meet you all at Sarges meet & greet Are we wearing name tags with large letter so I can read them?LOL I guest you could tell I could not sleep tonight!! NICK,Doms moms& Heidermarie I think I remember your guys are the football nuts. Well she likes football to she yells at the refs. When they make a bad call just like the guys! LoL She was a trainer Assit. For the last four yrs. of high school. Thanks Lady's I think I feel better now!!! LOL. Shipshapesuzy.

Does anyone know if we will get to spend time with our SR after graduation?

Hi there! I was told that after graduation, we get to spend time with our SR until 8pm. Can't take them beyond 50 miles from base and must be back on time. Was also told that the next day, if your SR is flying out, you can not take them to the airport, but you can meet them there and spend time until they leave. Also, can take their cell phone back to them. I'm taking cell phone, charger, laptop and charger. Bet he can't wait to have those two back! lol If you hear of anything else that allowed to bring, please let me know! We've almost made it!!!!! I'm getting so very excited and can't wait to see what my SR looks like now!!! Hope this info helps!
