Hey our SR are on the same"ship", were ship 07 Div 011

I just got my letter and am thrilled to get his PIR date!!!

I am so excited right now :)

Dawn in MI

Just yesterday I thought I was'nt going to be able to attend the PIR due to my income, but I had a family friend use thier Air Miles and was able to book my flight!  For anyone else that cant afford to go, ask to see if anyone has air travel miles that they can donate to a great cause!

Was wondering if anyone was staying in Waukegan for PIR?  Would anyone like to split the cost of a taxi?  Pick up at Ohara airport and taken to Hotel.  The pick up on PIR day is free to PIR then a $3.00 per person charge for the trip back to Hotel.

Hi I'm a little late joining but here I am. I was elated when I got the form letter with my son's Ship and PIR date. I haven't looked at hotels yet. I will have to do that soon. Does anyone know about the possibility of  viewing our DIV on you tube on Tues and Thurs?

@ JAE1958---i know that there are wacky wednesday and somehting on Tuesday but, I don't know of any u-tube. If there is please, let me know.  I would love to see my son's pic.

how do u view them
I haven't been on for about a week. I will have to investigate theyou tube boot further. I'll let you know.
Now that I have my Airline tickets and a hotel room to share, I'm so excited for the PIR on Dec 2nd..not it seems like forever away! But I'm sure it seems even further for our kids!! LoL

I got a letter!!!!

I wasn't expecting much but it was 12 pages!  She sounds good and she feels good about her division.  Send them good vibes.  The DIV 010 comes over and sleeps in their compartment in the evenings and then leaves in the morning.  The males do the same thing - leave for the evening and then come back.

What a ride this is!

It seems that Wednesday will be my letter day :)

Was hoping Wednesday would be my letter day, but nothing in the mailbox today.

my daughter hasnt writen a hole lot says alot going on but she did say the navy has a church that is having adopt a navy recruit and takes them for the day of thanksgiving I am so glad they wont be there with no one they will be with a family'
Oh my Gosh! I am so jealous.  I hope Thursdays are my letter day. My SR is in a different division but the same TG.  I am so happy for you! It give us all hope that letters are out there.
