Hello,  Does anyone have a loved one on Ship 07 Div 113? I just received the form letter from my Son.  Thank you.

I received a real letter Feb 10, It was 6 pages front and back, but he had written it over a few days. He told me is was not that cold there. He says they have snow watch where they take 2 hour shifts throughout the night and shovel snow. He said he lucked out one night and it didn't snow. He passed his swim qual too and was able to go back to study.

After stories from his Marine brother he was pleasently surprised they get to get with two hands. He also told me the advice his Air Force nephew told him to just focus on one meal to the next was great advice. He said  after breakfast he tells himself he only has to get to lunch and so on... and time seems to be going fast that way.

Thank you Debbie... We are on vacation for a week and won't be able to get any mail so I REALLY appreciate everyone sharing their mail!  Also, my SR is not one to write so I am not expecting to get long letters but I am hoping to hear something from him.  I will pass on the one meal at a time advice in my letter to my son today.  Thank you!!!
Hi I got two letters so far. They  have both come on Thursdays.
Hey guys Div 109 & 110 received calls yesterday!!!  Hopefully we will today or tomorrow!!!  (fingers crossed) :-)
Hi moms, my son is on Ship 07, Div 113. I haev received 2 letters, so far, but will be glad when he can make phone calls. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to grant the sailors that privledge. My son has been there since Jan 25
Hi,  You are so lucky!  I have only received the form letter.  From what I have read, it all depends on how well the division is doing.  We are away but keeping our cell phones on.
Lucky you! I've gotten the form letter and one letter. I'm hoping they get to make calls today. That's what I've concluded from the other divisions but who knows.
Yep, all I got was the inital form letter, and then a personal letter.
This may be late but my son called home on Feb 17. He is in DIV113 too. Did you get a call?
Yes I did get a call last Thursday! And IMPATIENTLY waiting for my next
We got our call too.  We only were able to talk for 10 minutes.  Did you hear that they should have had a 1/2 day today due to the holiday?  I hope they had time to re-group and catch their breath.
I got my phone call tonight, too! My son is sick with swollen adnoids and possible flu, but otherwise he's fine. Mrshdge, he is actually with your husband, and knew exactly who I was talking about when I asked about Hodge. I hope you got your call from your hubby. Jean-9, I wish I had known, before I talked to my son, that your son was feeling down because I know that DeVante wouldn't have mind getting with him for encouragement and motivation. We actually talked for an hour. He said that they get 3 calls the entire time, each for an hour.
