I ordered ribbons from Lala. Can't wait to get them!
SS mom- I finished your ribbons today and wanted to give you that update, I hope things are going well for you and your sailor :-)

Thanks Lala for the update!  I can't wait to get them and even more so to wear them at PIR!! Thank you for making them!

Lala,

Some how I missed the boat about ribbons? :)

Kathy

Kathy, befriend Lala and she will tell you all about the ribbons. I even ordered one for my husband to wear because they aren't "girly". After PIR I'm going to put them in my son's Navy scrapbook!

SSMom,

Thank you!

Thanks so much everyone. Kathy I just sent you the info. Word of mouth is the best advertisement for sure. So tell all your friends :-) And don't forget about those on the main PIR page as well. The ribbons make a great keepsake and work nicely in scrapbooks or frames. Make sure you take a look at my page of all the ribbons and scrapbook items I make.  It won't be long at all until I am shipping ribbons and scrapbook embellishments for your PIR group. I hope you all have a wonderful week and get extra letters :-)
Lala, I'll be wanting to order as well...we have about 4 weeks left until PIR  so when should I order them?
Thank you so much.  I will have a look and let you know what I want to order.
Yea, got a letter from my SR today!  Things don't sound too bad.  He says he it feels like he is on the 9th hole of the hardest golf course he has played but the ball is rolling down hill.  He said he won't get another phone call until the last week when he calls to say he is a sailor.  He enjoyed the country music they played on Monday.  He said their dress blues pants have about 14 buttons in the front and he hopes he doesn't have an emergency on graduation day :)  No news on the medical condition so I guess no news is good news.  Will probably wait to get the train tickets till next week though.

Our 4th graders made cards for the SRs in my husband's division. I looked at them today before putting them in an envelope to mail to him to pass around and they are -terribly- cute. Awesome pictures and just ... cute, cute, cute. Hopefully the SRs enjoy them!!!

I got another letter from my SR. I really need to teach that man to write more detailed and informative letters. I'm going to make him a multiple-choice-test-letter and mail it to him. (The dangers of being married to an elementary school teacher!!).

Hotel reservations made and I'm counting down the days!!

LOL, I'm also an elementary school teacher! :) Having the kids make cards for them is a wonderful idea! But my SR told me he is running out of space to store stuffs so I've only been writing him letters (no more photos :( I use color printer and print them on regular paper instead).

Where are you staying? I can't wait either! :D
