Since we will all be sitting in the same section of the bleachers at PIR, maybe it would be nice to have us all post something here in this section.  We could keep up with what the Division is doing by the letters others are receiving from this Division as well.

I think the color should be something that will stand out,...something that is different than Red, White and Blue....I'm sure there will be a lot of that color in the room already. :-)

How about Hot Pink? Bright Orange? Yellow?  I'm open to any color that the majority would like.

Hot Pink or Yellow scarves should be easy enough to find, not sure I have seen any Orange scarves out yet, but that could be just me not looking hard enough, or if we didn't want to go with scarves we could all do like a plain ribbon in a certain color, I know financially a lot of us have to really save our money for this trip and the weekend that we get to spend with our loved ones.  So if we wanted to do a plain ribbon of a certain color that would be pretty easy to find, and not very expensive either and both male and females could wear them, where a scarf, not sure very many men would wear a hot pink scarf or even a yellow one, but a ribbon I can see them wearing that.  Any other suggestions?
Okay,...let's think outside the box,...what about sweatbands?  the kind you wear on your wrist?  That would be a reasonable price and they come in a variety of colors AND the men would not be opposed to wearing that I'm sure.  Thoughts?
That sounds good and like you said the males in the group even the teens or children would not mind wearing something like that as well.  Does anyone know how many are actually in our Division 174?  What I am thinking is if we can get an approximate, maybe a few of us can get even get some material and make enough for everyone, if people are opposed to buying them.  Since we will have plenty of time before the PIR starts we can pass them out in the bleachers?  Lets say we all decided on white then we could make white strips approx. 4 inches wide and lets say 6 inches long with a 2 inch piece of elastic joining them for them to be worn on the wrist or upper arm?
I think that is a great idea.  I would help make them.  How do we possibly find out how many to make though?
sent you a private message, let me know if you got it or not, been having trouble sending messages lately.

I like the idea of us all doing something.  I think we could just all settle on a color and let each person pick their own accessory.  I am more of a scarf person and was thinking of tying one around my purse strap or wrist.  I like the idea of hot pink or yellow!  Nice spring colors!!!

1proudmamma~we are leaving the 19th and driving as well.  I am hoping to leave early enough to allow us to check in and make the meet n greet.  I would love to meet everyone.  I haven't made my hotel res yet bc I can't decide where to stay.
We have made our reservations at the Residence Inn in Waukegan.  We are taking our SR's sister and brother so we got a nice deal on a suite.

Hi Ladies,

I saw that there are pics from Div. 174 on RTC face book..

Wish we could have seen their faces a bit better, my daughter is short, and I tried to look at the short people up in front, but the camera shot was still too far away for me to see if it was her or not, so I am just wishful thinking that one of them was her and in my mind I can say I saw a picture of her.

Maybe if one of us sees a pic of 174 on facebook, we can post it along with our comments here in this section, that way we all get to see them.  How does that sound?

My SR is the one with the white belt in the back "giving directions, commands, cadance,..."  whatever that is called.

I'm still learning all of this lingo. ha ha.  AAaaahHhh!!!  I can't believe I actually got to see her.  I have goosebumps!! :-)
