It has been so great getting letters every few days now. I hope all the other moms are receiving regular letters too. We all need to take a few minutes and send some good thoughts and prayers to our SR's. This week is a pretty important week according to my SR, battle stations and tests. Hope all our support helps everyone to pass and be ready for PIR on Dec 2.
Dad did well with the brain surgury anf Luke got to call and find out that all went well. He was so serious . Yes maam. I know he is relieved. Thank you God.

I'm so glad everything went well and that your SR was able to call.  Godspeed.

Deb, so happy to hear your Fathers surgery went well and you were able to talk to your SR, I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery for him. Hang in there. :

I recieved my ribbons for PIR yesterday yayy! There is a Mom here and her page is called La La ribbons and she makes these ribbons with your SR name and division to wear at PIR. They are too cute! She even made a "momma" size one for me and a "baby" size ribbon for my daughter!

I also was wondering if everyone who has a FB page has the RTC Recruit Training Command on their page? Every Wednesday they do a Wacky Wednesday photo contest and the first person to figure out what that picture is and post  it on FB wins a picture of your division and they put your SR right out in front! I almost got it last week but ship 09 div 014 won! So we need to ban together and try to win this! I would love to see a photo of our division!

Hope everyone is hanging in there, we are on the home stretch now. Cant wait to get to PIR to see my SR and meet all of you!

Have a fine Navy day! xoxo

they also do trivia on tuesday to win a picture of our DIV. on Tuesday it is at 10am RTC time

15 days 13 hours 33 minutes 20 seconds

woohooooooooooooooooooo!!

I am!

Got a letter today. I am so proud of my SR!!!! He said he is doing awesome and he made Sharp shooter so he will get a little extra bling for his uniform. Also he said that his div is doing great and coming together. They have won every flag so far and they are trying for the Battle E flag. He sounds so happy being over there on Great Lakes. He is ready to be a Sailor and can't wait to start traveling. I am so glad he is happy!!!! I know I haven't been spending much time on here but my life is super busy right now...forgive me. I can't wait to meet everyone in 15 days!!!!

I'm so glad I checked here for messages since we are in the same division!!  This is awesome news!  Woohoo!! I'm happy for you and for your SR!  Congratulations.

I can't find this facebook page. If only my caboose was still at home. He would help me find it. I can't wait to meet everyone. Luke said everything was going really well too. Do you all know when they will be doing the Captains Cup? It must be coming soon.
