Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 201 and 202

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My SR is on  Ship 09 Div 201.  I spoke to  him yesterday and he seemed somewhat down.  Hopefully things will get somewhat better this week.  I look forward to talking with all of you.

My son is 202. I got a phone call 5/3!! Now waiting on letter(s)!! We're from sometimes sunny upstate NY!!-ps. Can I add this group to "my groups?"

my so is 202 as well, we are from middle Ga.

Good evening all. Having a hard time falling asleep missing my son :(

Everyone visit this Facebook page on Tuesdays:

https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand

They do a Trivia Tuesday every week and the first person to answer the Navy History question correctly can request a photo of their Division! It's usually just a photo of them in a classroom working hard, but  still, how great is that?! :) Spread the word so we can see our loved ones in Divisions 202 and/or 201 ! :) :)

Wishing you all the best,

Cassidy

(My Sailor is in Div. 202)

Yippee! 8 pg. letter from my SR!! I was bawling before I even ripped it open!! He was much more detailed this time. He said he gives his RDC's the utmost respect because they get up before them and go to bed after them and they don't see much of their families. He said he's learned to never take the little things for granted! He ended it by saying Happy Mother's Day!! He is doing great! I am one proud Mama!!!!!!

ok well I found this site from another SR's navy mom......I am frantically still waiting for the "official form letter".  Is anyone else still waiting?  Ship 09, Division 201

I am getting so nervous.  Ive recieve a few letters and he mentions it in the letters and hopes that I received it.  But I have not.  I emailed his recruiter and have yet to hear from him.  He had hurt his knee while marching which caused him to miss a bit including a swim qualifications test that he needs to make up.  He mentions that he was SIQ for 2 days because he had 2 wisdom teeth pulled out and missed some more that he needs to make up.  Then he mentions that he had a high fever, headache, runny nose and a bad cough.  Now I am trying to keep this "no news is good news" in tact but I have made my hotel/air accommodations already and I just don't know what to do or think at this point.  Others have told me that if there is a problem that I will receive a call .....but nothing as of yet.  I am really stressed out and cry all the time when I am home....seems works keeps my mind off it for a short time but then at night I am a mess.

Ladyrocker-I understand your anxiety completely!! I'm not a pessimistic person by nature, but I have found myself "what-iffing" constantly. I have prayed more in the last month than I did in my previous 39+ years!! My SR said 202 sounded like an infirmary, because if all the sickness! I just keep reminding myself that they want them to succeed ALMOST as much as we do, so they will take care of our sailors! My faith is strong and my fingers are crossed! Hang in there Momma!!

Thanks Liz819 I am trying to hang in there.  Going to email his recruiter now and hopefully his dad can call him today to see if we can locate this "so-called" missing "form letter".
