Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 355-356.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Anyone here worried that PIR may get delayed?  I bought our flight and hotel tickets last night and heard in a letter received today that some are not doing well and as a group can that hold them back?

I haven't heard anything yet... Hoping to get a letter tomorrow. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I don't think they would hold an entire division back....I know they have sent several SR's back though. Hopefully by the next letter we receive, things will have come together for 356 and 355. :)

I learned that they can't hold an entire division back. Only those SR's that are pushed back. I was v relieved to learn this!

Me too, as I was all ready for the 11-2 PIR with flight and hotel and then the next day we heard this.

Did anyone hear about the liberty process? I received a letter from my husband who is on ship 9 div. 56 that they will only get to spend time with the family for a few hours on grad day and thats it. No weekend liberty. He is a grad and stay so anyone know what's going on?

Liberty depends on each individual and what they are doing after PIR.  Some will only have a few hours on Friday, some all weekend and some only time at airport to hug and say Gbye.

We are staying at The Marriott and look forward to seeing all these great Moms at Graduation! Our son has been really great about writing and we got one really good phone call. His 6 year old baby brother is missing him and was so happy to get a letter just for him this week! I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Are any of you going to the Meet & Greet the night before?  Its going to be so much fun and apparently the guy in charge of this is very up on all Navy info and surrounding area stuff.  May be worth your time...

We are thinking about going to sarge's m&g... Thought it would be fun to meet some people who have been as stressed as me the last two months lol

Wow that will be great.  Lets find out where everyone is staying?

We are staying at the Navy Lodge, going to Meet n Greet.

Flying into O'hare on 10/31 leaving Sunday.  Okay everyone it's your turn....

We are taking the Amtrak in from Ohio Thursday and staying till sometime on Saturday. Once we find out what time his flight leaves we can finalize our plan. His gf is coming from Wisconsin as well as my oldest who goes to school in Madison. We are also staying at the Navy lodge.
