Happy Saturday Morning everyone!!!  Hope you all have a great day and all is well in your lives.  Off to spend the day enjoying the weather and looking at flowers for the gardens.  Kim

Hey ladies, another Saturday means almost another weekend  down.  Soon we will be with our men, sons, loved ones.  I hope everyone is having a lovely day.  Always here if you need anything.

Just wanted to say i hope everyone is surving this time away from our loved ones. I know its tough but we shall get through it especially with support from each other!!!!! We have 6 more weeks til PIR, but if my calculations are correct we should be recieving a phone call this week!!!!!!! Great Lakes are code is 847 so if you see it dont ignore it!!!! Im so excited!!! Also i have made up my mind and i am going to PIR!!! Hope to see everyone there!!!!!

Brandy!! I am so glad you will be attending PIR; I hope you can join us on Thurs night for one of the meet/greet events held for families.  I can't wait to meet all of the PIR 5/11 parents/wives/girlfriends and especially our div 142 group!

Kim

Dani, did you get anything yet?

Rachel and others -- Yes -- I did receive my 2nd letter today.  I don't want to bring all my other Div 142 moms down but this letter was not as happy and full of excitement as the first.  I think they have some tough days ahead.  He stated that they are all looking forward to graduation.  To bad they have 5 1/2 weeks to go.  He does mention some of his fellow 142 members (I know I can't state names on here -- I will say one friend is from Tennessee and his mom is a navyformoms member.  His other friend is from Texas and they will be going to HM school together.  (Hint Hint) :)  They only go outside when walking from building to building.  He got his military glasses this past Thursday - I bet he looks sexy in those!    I think an upbeat letter needs to be written by mom and sent back.  Gotta keep our SR spirits up.  Hope you all get letters soon.

Dani- Hoping for my letter tomorrow and I know Rachel is too.....I pray for these young men/women every night and hope they know how important they are in all of our lives for so many reasons that they don't even know and many they do.

Can't wait for us to all stand there at PIR with our hearts overflowing with love and pride and with the friends we are making on our way through our piece of this journey.

Talk to you all tomorrow - hoping for the best, but either way - just want to hear from him.

Kim

My son wrote his Easter was bad bc the mail slowed the letters, :(

Hey all - I looked at the various meet/greet events on the 10th of May and opted for Sarge's at the Sundance Saloon.  Let me know if you all will be attending this one or a different one............

Kim -- I thought that Sarge's at the Sundance Saloon looked really great too!  I'm game -- let's meet there.  I can't wait to meet my new friends.

Sounds good to me too!

Thursday at what time? not Friday right?
