Thank you LaLaRibbon I just got mine yesterday and they are more then I expected.  GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!

I got another letter from my SR today...he said that they are looking like a real bad a$$ division when they march...he sounded so proud of all of the guys in the division.  He told me that he got his rating...he is going to be an ET-Nuke and that they got their scores from pistol qualifications. No one got Expert, 9/76 got sharpshooter (and HooYah! he was one of the 9...Way to go Son!), he didn't mention how many got Marksman (sorry). He said the group is really looking forward to Battlestations and of course PIR.

I'm so glad that my son was able to be in a division of great guys, my thanks to all of the other loved ones who helped support your SR during this time and thanks moms for raising such wonderful guys.

See you in 2 weeks!

I also received a letter from my son today and he is also going to be an ET-Nuke.  Since he said that there were only 3 ET-Nukes from their division, I am guessing that if they don't know each other well already they will soon.  We will have to try to meet at PIR.

JulieL, we will have to meet up...I would imagine that our sons will be together for the next year or more so we might want to keep up with each other.  I am sending you a friend request.  I know that the ET-Nuke program is supposed to be the hardest one to get into and the most stressful. Our boys must be doing something right to be chosen for this.

Awesome news, momofanuke!  So great!  Thank you and your son for all the good news!  It is sooo good to hear.  I cannot wait to maybe see pics on the FB page, or just see them in person looking beautiful in their whites!  Hoo-yah!  :)

Love this so much.  Awesome.  My son said he qualified (in his letter last week), but haven't heard from him again. I'm guessing he got Marksman.  It would be exciting to be in that top 9!  I know your son is feeling "boss" about that, and he should.  :P

I'm also so glad my son was in a group like this one.  I think it has meant a lot to him.

He is very proud of his shooting score and he has done well on all of the tests too...maybe he will be among the lucky few to make honor grad. (keeping my fingers crossed)

Hi all- I also received a letter yesterday from my son and he sounds so much happier than he did at the beginning in his letters he said that our division is doing outstanding right now and they are having fun.  He said they got their dress uniforms back from the tailor/dry cleaner and they look sharp. He said that he got the results back from his shooting as well and he qualified for a Marksman ribbon which I was so surprised and proud. He has never shot a gun in his life and I was just worried that he wouldn't even do good enough to pass the shooting but I guess he fooled me. He said that he donated blood on Friday and when he was walking back PIR had just gotten out and people were standing out on the sidewalks- He said won't be much longer and that will be us.  I can't wait until PIR

So happy you posted these happy thoughts from your son.  Thank you.  I haven't heard from  mine since a note he had sent for Mothers' Day, and I am really, really desperate to hear any news;  I know that he must be fine, and that "no news is good news" but I just have that knawing feeling I know all of you moms understand, wishing to hear anything at all.  I look at the FB page every day, but it's been three days since they posted anything new.  You all are my source of the only news I've heard in days!  Thank you again.

I noticed that some of you have been getting additional calls asking for more info for their security clearances and we received another call from my son asking for more info as well I was wondering who all is going to Pensacola for schooling and for what.  My son will be going to Pensacola for CTT schooling.

My boyfriend will be going to Pensacola for the same exact thing! (CTT) I am sure I will meet your son at some point when I go to visit! :) I think the guys know my boyfriend for the pictures I sent him. Haha. I had sent pictures of the sailboat and area down here where I am currently (Bahamas) and he said all the guys are begging him to let them see the pictures! Haha It made me chuckle a bit! I am so ready for PIR! I cant wait to see all those guys and meet all their families! I am going to be a crying mess!

That is cool that your boyfriend is going to be doing the same exact thing as my son I hope to meet you at either Sarge's Meet and Greet or at PIR.  I am getting ready to write another letter to my son so I will ask him about see any pictures from your boyfriend.  Has your boyfriend heard yet when he will be flying out to go to Pensacola?  I am sure they will probably be on the same flight since they are going to be doing the same thing.
