Help please!! Just found out my mother and father-in-law are coming for graduation. Which is great for my daughter, but we already had my parents, myself and my husband. What should we do? Will we have trouble getting them in to graduation? Will we be able to have a parking pass for them, since I can't fit 6 people in my car? Thanks for the. Help!

Your SR can only have 4 adults children 12 and under may attend with an adult. In the form letter you get your daughter should have put down the 4 names to invite. And she is the only one who can change them.

She did put down myself my husband my mom and my dad. So do I have to tell her other grandparents they can't come?? I thought sometimes extra people can get in?

Not sure everything I have read says only the 4 that they put on the list

Only the 4 people on the list are guaranteed entry. However, since we are only 8 divisions, it probably won't be a problem to get them in. They will have to understand that they may have to wait until all listed people are seated first and may not be able to sit with the rest of the family.  Make sure they take their ID's to get in. As far as the parking passes, you can print multiples of the parking pass. You are not limited to one.  It is actually recommended that you print extras to make sure you have what you need. Make sure you have an up-to-date proof of insurance in your car to drive on base. You WILL NOT be allowed on base without it and the parking pass. Also be aware that the driver of the car cannot use a cell phone on base while driving. Not even Bluetooth's. Hope this answers your questions.

Has anyone ever used the shuttle from the hotel to get to base? or do you recommend driving yourself

@MN Navy Mom - In 2009 I took the hotel shuttle to and from the graduation. I highly recommend it. It makes it so much easier to get in. If you drive, the line of cars waiting is incredible! Each car is searched before it is allow in. IMO the shuttle keeps you out of the long hassle. ~ TriziaLee

Ok thank you I was beginning to think no one was going to talk to me on here. Thank so much. Can't wait for PIR! 2 weeks 6 days

Thank you for this. It makes me feel a bit better although the whole situation has me stressed!, I just want everyone to be happy!
