My SR left June 4th.  Received his box a few days later and got the form letter yesterday.  We weren't even thinking that PIR would be July 27th, we were looking more at Aug 3 or later.  I guess he got there just in time to finish up his division.

my son is div 230 ship 13, i cant wait to talk to him

Sindee, looks like our sons are in brother divisions.  They say that they do everything together except sleep.  I can't wait to talk with him, too.  My husband and I are refrehing our memories on how to add someone in on the phone call and make it a conference call.  That way we can both talk with him. Sure hopes he calls me first--not sure my husband will remember how to do it...hehe

My son is in that same group. This site is a little confusing for me, are you on the FB page?

I totally agree--Yes I have been using facebook more.

Received first real call today, it was great hearing his voice.  He left Jun 4th, is on ship 13 Div. 230.  Hope everyone gets to hear from their SR soon.  It feels so good knowing how he's been and what he's looking forward to.

I received my second letter from my son.  He wanted me to find out last names of other guys in his div.  If those of you that have SR in Div 229 can you inbox me with last names so I can tell him? He is wanting to know who's family members I have connected with. The days seem to be moving a little faster this week.   Thanks.

We got our 3rd letter yesterday. My son sounded really upbeat and said he couldn't believe how fast the days are going.  He didn't mention anything about still being sick, so I am hoping that he is finally over whatever he had.

3 weeks from today we will be in Chicago.  I just can't stop smiling.

I sent him the questionnaire, but he hasn't sent it back. Knowing him, he won't send it back. He did comment about how great the food is and how happy I would be with the choices.  I am a Foodie and he knew that would make me happy.

Happy Friday Everyone!

I think it's just getting better and better for our SRs. They are really learning how to be sailors now. My son commented on their new haircuts. I guess they got their high-and-tights last week. He said now if only their military bearing and marching was as good as our SRs looked..... :) I think they are getting it together!

Hello, does anyone happen to know when Div 230 Ship 13 starts there battleship? My son graduates 07-27-2012 I was thinking I would have recieved thst call IM a sailor by now. Anywho thanks

Some have started getting the calls. Have you friended diannep? She's keeping a list. Dates can't be posted on here, but she can private message you the information! It will be soon!

How do I friend diannep?

Megan- Did you figure out how to friend Dianep?  If you click on her name from a recent post, it will take you to her page and you can friend her.  I haven't heard anything yet about BS for 229/230.
