Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 027 & 028

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I received a letter from my fiance' today as well!!!  I was so excited that I didn't even get mad when I walked into an apartment with trash all over the floor (my dog decided to have a party while I was at work).  My fiance' is in division 27 as well.  I didn't receive his address until this past Thursday, so I sent him the letters I had been writing since he left.  I feel bad that he probably won't receive mail in those first few days, but he already said in his letter that he knew I was writing him.  That made me feel better.

Seeing his letter truly made my day.

Thanks for the information regarding what day they are on. My honey didn't include that information.  It's helpful to know.

That's great you got a letter too! I'm so happy. I was so ecstatic. My dog was happy because I was happy, it was hilarious. Bf made friends with a few others.. he listed 3 other's names of who he talks with. He's in laundry duty... anyone else have someone in laundry duty??? Bf said they get along great!

No letter here yet, but maybe it takes longer to travel to Colorado. My heart sank yesterday when I didn't have anything in the mail from my son. I hope I have something today. I miss him so much.

No letter from my son yet either, div 28.

It will come! I hope you get it today! Let us know :)

Hi TrevorsMom! They are getting down to wire now it won't be long and I am sure you have heard from your SR by now! I received a very hurried letter where Grant listed all the different things they were learning besides gettin "beat".  He said there have been lots of colds, and was starting another, all had gone to "Red Rover" to get shots that ought to help. Maybe the colds will stop when the stress is a little less.

Jennifer, what does that mean "they haven't gotten it together completely yet?"  (Forgive my ignorance). Are they in trouble or anything?

No I don't think they're in trouble, I just don't think they're necessarily working as a team yet. But I hear that is very common, and they'll "get it together' soon!! =)

I received a letter yesterday from my son. I am so excited he sounds good and seems to be doing well.  I think it is totally ironic that he was put in charge of cleaning.  He even laughed at that, because I can tell you right now he isn't a cleaner.  I can't wait for him to come home for a visit and show me his new found cleaning skills.  LOL. Trevorsmom, my son has found yours and knows we have been in contact.  I think that is pretty cool.

Oh that really warms my heart QueenB! I went through a little rough patch with higher anxiety with him being gone. I think it was because I expected him to be home briefly for Christmas and now know he will likey head off the A school instead. I read that you went into your son's room to tidy up. That's great. I hope I get a letter today. Thanks!!

Hang in there Mom, just because he is leaving for A school doesn't mean you won't see him at Christmas.  The schools have a holiday stand down period so you may just get to see him.  No worries until you find out for sure.  For now just think we are down to 36 days until PIR and that is something to look forward to.  : ) By the way my first name is Shari.

Thanks Shari! Only 36 days. We can do this! I'm hanging on.

And I am Bridget :)
