Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 099 and 100.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay, I got a letter today! (ship13div100) Said he was happy to hear my voice last wk and told me they had an option to donate money to CFC (combined federal campaign) and he chose to put money towards PeaceTrees Vietnam Charity group that sponsors the clearance of landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in VN. He's super awesome!! :D He's really excited about PIR grad. and he wants really good Japanese food. Haha..I can't wait to see him and give him big hugs & kisses. I haven't heard any updates on Hell Wk. I'm sure we'll get some info from them next wk.

No letters or calls either

Received one letter, but no call.

If I may ask wht hotel are u staying at
I'm soooo happy I found this group! My son graduates 02/08/13 and although I live in Chicago I can't attend because I have training for a new job :(
My mom and sister are going but now I have to decide which of my 2 daughters to send in my place . My sister won't give up her seat like I think she should so his 10 and 17yr old sisters can come in our place. My understanding is division 100 ships out that night or next morning so I asked her to leave with me so at least I can have dinner with him.
Iknow he put her on the list so he didn't have to decide between his sisters with 3 tix. This upsets me more than not being able to attend myself.
Any suggestions on what to do? I don't want anyone waiting by themselves outside graduation.
What can be done to change my name on his list?
13/99...any idea when we should get the "I'm a Sailor call?" I think this week has been as hard as the first. I'm so emotional, all the time. Is this normal? I havent received but one call, sunce i missed the last... Somehow?! But I'm so very excited for our hard working SR's! I just can't wait to hear his voice!

Got a letter today! So excited! Counting down the days! Leaving from Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, going to Sarges, staying at Courtyard Marriott!  Gotta get binoculars!

I am so ready. Got my pile started. Can it please get here fast.

Sorry, for the late update..I've been so busy with work, family, friends and getting ready for this trip. I got three calls last wk (W,TH, & F) and a letter from my SR(13/100). First call, he needed me to send some info. The other two calls were earned. I thought something happened since he called me at 5 am both times. Made me worry for a sec, but he reassured me and said he was doing well, passed his PFA. Friday, when he called..said he wanted to hear my voice before doing the Gas Chamber test. The division is doing well, but they still have problems marching in sync, especially the shorter guys. They were punished a few times because some of them were goofing off. He just want to get this over with and graduate. So he's excited about that and finally get to see me. Told to me to start looking for flights to Pensacola. Haha. Hopefully, I'll be hearing his voice again and telling me he's a Sailor! I'll be flying out on Wed night and arriving there Thurs. morning. I'm looking forward in meeting you all at Sarge's M&G. :D

FYI, those calls were NOT earned and the whole division got PT'd because of these phone calls.  Sad how my son and all the others had to pay for your recuits selfish decision.

Anyone have any info as to when 99/100 will do Battle Stations?

Possible that they went last night.  However, if 913 went, then just 097/098 (or 806) would have been with them.  If not last night, obviously it will happen tonight.
