For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 219 and 220
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

It usually takes more than three days to recover fully from the flu so he may have been "under the weather" for a while. Now that he is with the division and they have started training, perhaps he'll get back in the game physically and mentally. I think the letters are going to help all of them, but the Navy tests their ability to separate from friends and family before they allow them to re-connect. I think as time goes on, the SRs will have more time to build friendships and that will help all of them too. My son insinuated that the division is some-what disjointed right now.

Today I would like to ask my fellow Navy Moms to join me in prayer for our honorable sons as they struggle to find balance in their division. Their work is challenging, it is exhausting, and they desperately miss the connection of their families. Please, Dear Lord, strengthen our SRs in their endeavors. Help them to bond and pull together as brothers do. Go to them, Lord, touch their hearts, touch their minds, touch the strong shoulders upon which so great a weight has been cast. Guide them, connect them, console them, and help them walk in the ways of your son, our beloved Jesus Christ.
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strenghthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

Hi everyone. My son is in Div 220 and will stay in Great Lakes for A school. He called home yesterday afternoon and sounded good. He said they've been told their division has received mail, but they "haven't earned it yet". Hopefully they won't have to wait much longer to get all the cards and letters we've sent our SRs!

Aww, that's not good. Our SR received only this week letters 6 through 11. Letters 1 through 5 are MIA. (Yes we wrote that much). Oddly enough, they didn't earn mail but they did get a phone call? Interesting.

It's my understanding they haven't trained the mail carrier yet, but possibly that's just my sons division. He's in 219.
