Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 073 and 074.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello, my son is in this group. (Div 074) He will be going to A school in Ct after.

I got my call from my son this past Wednesday evening about 5:45 and he sounded sooo good. My son is also going to CT for sub school. He will be training to be a sub missle tech. We will be staying at motel 6 and hope to make it to Sarge's for the meet and greet Thursday night before PIR.

Hello, my son is also in this group. (Div 073).. Looking forward to hearing from him. Wondering what the time frame is for a letter or phone call?

I know, I think next week should be a phone call but I am not sure. I hope to have a letter this week, but again, that is just me hoping. I will let you know as soon as I get one.

Hello! My husband is also in this group (Div 073)...He arrived 12/3 and Im hoping to get a letter this week!! fingers crossed...If im not mistaken their first letters should go out in the mail today =0)  Have a great day ladies!

Thank-you!! Fingers crossed... So nice to have this site !

So, where is everyone from? Michigan here. It would be so nice to get a letter this week!  This site is nice. Where are you guys staying for PIR? We got a room at the Navy Lodge. I am so looking forward to hugging my son. This is his first time away from home. I have been doing OK with it after the first few days. Remembering no news is good news helps. Take care

Tina

Hello there.. From ocean city nj.. I agree that no news is good. !! We're staying at Ramada.. ( is navy lodge only for veterans ??).. This site is so helpful and yet I seem to have so many questions! Ha.. Oh well.. Hope we here from our kids soon..

I guess the Lodge is for everyone. All I did was tell them I was there for PIR, gave them my sons name and booked a room for 66 a night. We are attending Sarges meet and greet, how about you? I am learning so much from here. We are trying to find cards to send to my son and that is hard. Either the words are not right, they have glitter. We found a few encouragement cards but they had red envelopes. My daughter and I looked for another card that size with a white envelope and swapped out envelopes. I told my oldest who is real good in the area of art, she needs to create a line of cards for recruits.

Hello, my daughter is in this Div...nice to meet you:)..

I am trying to find out if the Ribbons for this Div. have a specific color or any color is ok.

Thank you

Gaby

My daughter is in Division 073 also! I am so confused as to how to navigate this site; I hope this gets posted! I only received my first communication from her yesterday; her husband has gotten all graduation information and has yet to share it with me.I am desperately seeking hotel information. Any thoughts?

My daughter is in this Div !
