Sorry to hear that he won't be heading out with his class, but welcome to our group! The family just got bigger!

Hi Ladies....I got a "reward" call tonight!!! :) NICE surprise... Just thought I'd let you know my SR said they did firefighting and the gas room this week....and that battlestations are this weekend...and they'll all be DONE with bootcamp come Monday!! So expect to get the "I'm a Sailor" call either Monday or Tuesday!!! :) These 2 months seemed to crawl by at times...but now that its practically over...seems not so bad, eh? It was just soooo nice to hear his voice! And I am so glad to have Part I under our belts!

Grateful you got phone call and info! I have just been a nervous wreck! Thank you for sharing and please know praying for each and every one of your SR's! Can hardly wait for the "I'm a Sailor"phone call! So ready...and know they are too! So proud of them all!

Some will be E2, some will be E3.   E2 is Seaman Apprentice SA instead of SR. And I believe E3 is just plain Seaman.  I think SN.  Roxiegirl....can you verify?!

You are correct...

I sure hope your weekends all go fast for all of you.  Have fun with those phone calls you'll be receiving.  Your new Sailors will be exhausted during that call but also so happy!  After graduation, my son told me that the graduation ceremony was for us parents and other loved ones.....the capping ceremony was what was most meaningful to him and his buddies.  It's a special time for them :)  Burn your blue candles and pray them through BS!

Guess where you will be next week at this time!!  Once you get thru this weekend the time will fly by!

Best of luck to the 8oh4!!

I'm sooooo proud!

A proud tradition continues!!! Way to go 804!

Way to go 804!  So proud of them.

Congratulations 804!  So Cool! Can't wait for Friday.

I'm guessing it's pretty common that the 800 divisions win Captains Cup!!  I know that was the case with my son's division.  Congrats to 804!!!   In my son's PIR group  there were only 4 divisions; 2 were integrated and 2 were all male. So their Captains Cup turned out to be a head to head competition and was pretty intense from what we heard.  801 went up against a 900 division (which was the other all male division).  The 900 divisions win the original song/dance part of the competition quite often but 801 had an awesome one and beat the performing division.  My son reenacted it for us and it WAS really funny!

Safe travels to all of you!!
