Hi, I am new today! Just got a call from my son also!! So glad to be able to share with everyone now. I have been reading all weekend.

Welcome aboard, hope that your travel through this with us is an easy ride, the ups out way the downs by far.
Thanks! I am glad to be aboard!
Yes, Welcome aboard!! If you have any questions, no matter how small or trivial you may think they are, just ask them.  If we don't know the answers, we will find out.  So glad to here that you got a all from your son also.  Did you see the link for our FB page?
I just got off the phone with my SR.  She cried when I answered & of course I started crying.  We got a 15 min call. She is doing good, she has passed everything but the run.  She is actually gaining weight because the food is pretty good, she said that div 015 is starting to pull together as a team.  She sounded so good. I am one HAPPY mom!!!
Your call sounded like my call. Except for the weight gain thing. She too passed all but the run. And, she said that they are starting to be a team. Said she likes it and gets along pretty good with everyone. said the food there is excellant. ( of course I can't cook to save my life)
Me either!! My cooking consists of McDonalds & Sonic.  I'm suprised my kids are as healthy as they are...lol
My kids grew up on eating out too!!!  LOL!
One year my SR told us that for her birthday she wanted to go to a real restaurant where you went in to eat & they had real glasses & forks, not plastic ones...LOL  Needless to say, we took her to a nice steak house.
My daughter could stand to put on a little weight.  She was very active in high school, she played basketball, softball, track & pep squad.  She is also tall & thought that she had to be the same weight as her 5' tall friends, who were all 100 pounds or less.  It made me feel a little better to know that she is gaining some weight.
OMG !!!  I just talked to my son for 17 whole minutes!!!  I cried when I hung up the phone!!!  I'm sitting at my desk at work and I was just reading on here where some in ship 09 / div 015 were calling and I looked at my cell phone and it started ringing!!!  I'm so happy!!!  He is doing good.  Says the food is great, the bunks suck and he loves his RDC!  He says today is week 2 day 5, tomorrow is 3-1.   He's passed the swim test and the first academic test!  Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!  Thank you Jesus!!!  You knew I needed to talk to my son!!

I really needed to talk to mine too! So are we the only ones in this group with sons?
