OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Today is my daughter's birthday & it would be so nice to get a letter from her today. This is the 1st birthday that I have not been with her. Her being gone & unable to talk to her is really hitting me hard today.

Thanks, I will probaby go home for lunch (it's a 30 mile drive for me) just to check my mail. I'm sure there will be letters there. I'm to impatient to wait until I get off work.

Good Morning Div 015 Moms, I'm doing the happy "Navy" Dance today. I got home late last night and found a letter from my SR. Very, very short, just 1 1/2 pages of that navy stationary but he's never been very talkative. He said everything is good, the weather has been fine so it makes it easy when they're marching. Said he was put in charge of scheduling port watch and working on the deck log. He said he misses us and our home town. He thanked me for sending him all those letters because they make his day brighter. That really got to me. I'm counting the days like everyone else.
Good luck for those who can play on the contest. I'd love to have our division win.

Hi Peggy, thank you for the great idea. I keep a list of things to write to him about by work but now I'll turn them into questions. I read on some of the posts that sometimes divisions next to each other work out together and are called buddy divisions. Would be great if our sons met each other.
