:) :) I KNOW!!!! :) :)       I hope we get our letters today!!!  I won't be able to find out until after 5:00 when I get off work though & it is making for a LONG day.

Hoping I come home today with the form letter in the mailbox from my daughter.  She has only been gone 11 days but man it feels like 2 months already.  Sure do miss her!  Not only is she my only child she is my best friend also.  But I'm learning to deal with this day by day. These 2 months are going to be hard!
I know how you feel.  My daughter is my baby & I didn't realize how much time we actually spent together until she was gone.  Day by day is the only way we can get through it & just think it is actually 44 days & a wakeup before we see them again.  I hope the next 6 weeks will go by fast!!!
yeah I got my letter today!  Said she misses us and her Dad's cooking.  lol  PIR date is 12/2/11.  Hooyah!  I started to read the letter, went straight to the back where she wrote her short note and started crying when I read she misses us.  Tears of joy though!  It was so great just to see her hand writing.

I got my letter !!  YAY!!!!!!   She addressed it to Loved Ones & said that her boots are hurting her piggies & that the best thing is that she has gotten to write more than her brother did last year (they are always competing against each other).  She said that she has already written us some letters so hopefully we will be getting those soon. My husband had gotten the mail & hid the letter from me so I would think it hadn't come, but when I started to tear up he gave it to me...then I did cry when I read it.

I am so Happy!!!!

YES!!!!  I got my form letter today!!! I'm so happy, happy, happy!!!!  My son is in Ship 09 Div 015 and graduates on Dec 2!!! woo hoo!!!  He wrote a note on the back of the envelope.  It says "Hey!  I miss you! Can't wait to see you at Grad! Hope you're doing ok! Write me as much as possible! I LOVE you mom! And as this letter states I could be held back if I fail a test so I'll be on top of my studying!! I LOVE you and Miss you Alot!  Take Care!"

I'm so happy right now.  I'm getting all the cards and letters that I have so far ready to put in the mail first thing tomorrow morning!!!  YIPEE!!!!

Welcome bsanford...I'm so glad to see that we've gotten letters.  You are the 1st that I've noticed with a son in this division, that means that it is an integrated division & I've heard that it is better for the girls to be in an integrated division than in an all female division.

Congratulations to all who received letters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just booked our rooms for PIR.  We are staying at the LaQuinta Inn in Gurnee.  We stayed there last year and it was very nice.  I'm so excited, I can't wait to see my daughter again!

Got my letter, She sounds upbeat. But tired of getting yelled at. she thinks that it will get better. hope it will. :)
I am sending all of the letters to my SR. my husband asked what i could write in 8 letters. i told him just every day stuff. Hopeing that we get a "real" letter this week from her. So glad that they get to go out for Thanksgiving. Hopefully my SR takes advantage of this opportunity to get off of base for a litte bit, and just to regroup. If they stay on base for Thanksgiving are they given the opportunity to call home?
I got the letter yesterday and was so happy. My son is in Ship09/Div 015 and I can finally send him the letters that are piling up.   He did not say much but I did notice that he handwriting was so much better than usual!  We're really looking forward to Dec 2.
