My son arrived on 2/12.

Maybe they will be in the same division. I got my sons address from his recruiter and he's in div 143...

Hi sheilada!

My son Erik arrived at Great Lakes Mon. Feb.11. I believe FedEx tried to deliver his box yesterday but missed him by minutes. Anxiously awaiting his letter with the information for graduation. I know there is a lot of men and women there but maybe by chance since they arrived the same day they may be in the same division. We are from Michigan so not to far away but far enough.

It would be great if they were! FedEx let my neighbor sign for my box.  Dev's recruiter told me his PIR date should be 04/12/13.  Have made my hotel reservations, but am holding off on the flights for now (I really want to book them, but know that I should wait).  Do you know where Erik will be going to A school?

Tammibea,

My boyfriends family had the same problem. We missed his box and we are hoping to get to get it soon. We also dont know his PIR date and are waiting anxiously for it. Since your son and my bf arrived on the same day im wondering if they rode the same bus in? Did your son fly in or drive if you know?

Hi Sheilada!

My boyfriend Mike left here 2/10 and arrived to great lakes late 2/11 evening. Perhaps your son and my boyfriend will be in the same division.

Hopefully! He flew from Denver to Chicago, then I'm assuming took the bus to the base.  I got my call about 1015 in the evening of 02/11... was short and sweet! He had to use someone else cell, because the silly boy let his die!

sheilada,

We are from Michigan only a few hours away so most likely will be driving. I already told my husband when I get his info. we should make reservations just to be sure we have a room. My son was told by his recruiter that he would be going to Pensacola( not sure if I spelled that right) but from reading other post that could change. As soon as i get hi info. I'll relay it.

Lemon, my boyfriend will be a missile tech. Could you help direct me to a group?

Thank you for your help. Much appreciated!

Perhaps our guys were on the same bus in. That would be exciting if he was. I got my call around 11:05 though. I was surprised he called me and not his family but i am so glad i was able to get the call.

Although that was 11:05 our time. Which would have been 10:05 in GL.
