Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My daughter left dallas on 5/17/2010...last call from her was 1:20am on the 18th.
My son left from Dallas May 18th have you heard anything from your daughter? Do you know her address or anything?
Yes, my son arrived at boot camp in Great Lakes on 5/18/2010 from Tampa Bay area. I just called his recruiter and he gave me his address. Best of luck!!!

hi jenny , i didnt get anthonys form letter yet , hopefully it will arrive 2moro :) wow they had to stay up for 40hrs thats crazy .. thats boot camp for ya >.....lol our poor sons :( well im glad that the graduation is earlier than i thought 7/9 is that right ??? i hope so im so excited to see my son the sailor .. so proud :) jenny i will let you know when i get anthonys form letter . p.s. i think i will assume anthony was not happy that he was up for 40hrs .. i know my son loves his sleep wow i can only imagine how he felt :( well thanks for filling me in & i will do the same :) i hope to stay in touch thru the course of this whole experience/journey .. its nice to have other moms to go thru this with .. gosh how did the moms back in the day get thru i feel so spoiled with this NFM site its awesome .. :)kimberly anthonys mom TTYS
hi jenny i recieved anthonys form letter & he said he had to stay up for 40hrs & he got a cold , but is feeling better , also his clothes are to baggy , he loves to eat healthy : he said there are healthy food options :) he said its pretty kool so far :) ttyl p.s. any word from your son joe via letter , no real letter yet from anthony hopefully 2day & they should be able to call home by the end of 3rd wk ... ttyl kimberly anthonys mom
hi jenny i know exactly how you feel im really missing anthony alot i keep thinking why hasnt he wrote me a letter yet maybe i'll get it by monday , i keep going to the mail box hoping i will see a letter & convincing myself that the mailman is just late today & then go back again & nothing in there .. :( its been so hard for me i miss him terribly i do miss seeing him around the house yes especially the wkds are tough& we used to cook alot together so i really understand what your going thru , anthonys birthday is monday he will be 20yrs old im sad i wont be able to see him for his birthday 1st time kinda wierd :( i know hes fine but i am really having a hard time with him not being around well to answer ur ? i recieved form letter a few days ago with the little note at bottom which made me feel a bit better , but i want to hear from him again , & yes i did send anthony with a couple of phone cards ,i hope he calls this wk they said by the 3rd wk they call but even if u didnt send joe with one he should still be able to call you :) also yes he said the navy uniforms are too baggy my son is so fit he hates baggy clothes ...lol..well just think graduation is getting closer , thats def .. something for us to be excited about :):):)ttys kimberly
