We talked to our SR about 10 days ago he told us that he got his orders and that A school starts Feb 12 but he did not tell us when he flies out. (Our fault we forgot to ask him).

Does anyone have a SR who is going to San Antonio for A school HM and know when they fly out?

Thanks.

My son goes to A school in San Antonio too but he didn't seem to know anything about it when I talked to him last.  If it doesn't start until the 12th then what do they do between the 3rd and the 12th?

That what I am trying to figure out.

My son goes to San Antonio for A school too. He hasn't told me if he knows when he's flying out. Starting the 12th would be cool. I have an "other" son that is in Pensecola, FL right now waiting for his A school to start and he graduated on Jan 13. They have them do PT and other jobs while they are waiting. He thinks he may start on Monday but he's not sure.

My daughter is also going to San Antonio A School. She PIR's on 2/3/12 but no word yet when she leaves. A few weeks ago she said she thought she might be leaving on Saturday but she said not to quote her on that cause things could change! I'm thinking I won't know till we get there on Friday and talk to her. I thought I read some where that she would probably get her flight info a few days before PIR. I'm hoping to remember to ask when I get the I'm a Sailor call!

Just talked to my son.  He told us that his orders have him leaving on Feb 12, has anyone else heard
