A kind of blue morning today...Thinking of my late sister. She has been gone for 28 years but her birthday always get to me. Je t'aime Ellie!

Connie- I think watching the road is a good idea.Hank gave up running because of street conditions. Now he runs on the "mill" at the gym as well. Says it is better on his knees anyway. Keep those eyes peeled so that you don't keep peeling those hands!  Continuing prayers for Brian and his Dr's!

Sherrill- get those trees planted. Hope the inspectors are behind as well! Hank and I give a tree or a gift certificate for one to new babies when they are born. That way the children each have their own tree to play under when they get older!  are little "Baby Trees" all over the country now...

Hope you all have a good Friday

Hey Y'all.  It's a beautiful day here in the neighborhood.  Going up to the 70's.  What can I say, it's winter in Alabama, one day 30's and the next 70's.  Either is fine with me.  Hope y'all have a great day.

Good Morning Girlies!  i am about to jump on the "dreadmill" and try to work out some of this soreness.

CC i just don't know how runners manage these streets and sidewalks....i have learned not to take my eyes off the "road" for sure now!

Comment by ColoradoConnie on February 23, 2012 at 6:57am

Good morning! Connie- You gotta watch those sidewalks and roads!  They reach out and touch you when you least expect it, been doing for years to me. Hank calls me Grace for good reason! I am glad you are not hurt too badly, be safe out there! I would have blamed it on the winds here. I had to put rocks in my pockets yesterday, to keep from blowing away.

More winds today, but a chance of rain! Come on rain drops. I guess I better do my rain dance under the Cottonwood tree!!!

Have a great Thursday Gals!

i NEED a 'rita.....every part of me is hurting.  took a big fall yesterday.  kissed the pavement on my 2.5 mile walk!  i fell about half way and in spite of my bloodied hands i finished!! woo hoo (shouting it verrrrry weakly).

Comment by ColoradoConnie on February 22, 2012 at 8:02am

Well good morning! We are still here and not in Kansas today. The winds were unbelievable yesterday and now they say to expect even higher winds today... We may end up in Oz shortley!

Connie- Wow! "Deperm'ing sounds quite dangerous! Also very interesting. I am sure it would be something to watch... from shore!

Have a good Wednesday all!

Happy Fat Tuesday Ladies!

Just pulled out the king cake from the oven, lots of sugary icing, parades, food and celebration here on the coast. Miss my son- he loved Mardi Gras.

Did get a long email from him this am- seeing another side of the world, people with a complete different set of beliefs than ours. He really misses the USA.

He said he has been working toward his air warfare pin, and finally completed what was needed- he should be getting soon. No idea what it is.

Sending an Easter care pkgs soon with lots of goodies.

Love reading everyones  posts!
