Good Morning my Girlies!!

well "deperm"  is a procedure for erasing the permanent magnetism from ships and submarines to camouflage them against magnetic detection vessels  and enemy marine mines.

Heavy gauge copper cables are wrapped around the hull and superstructure of the vessel, and very high electrical currents (as high as 4000 amps) are pulsed through the cables. YIKES

well i am just hoping this process doesn't mess with Sailor Son's "magnetic personality".....hehehehehehe

hope you all have a FANTASTIC day!!!!

Morning! The wind is whipping again this morning (35 -40 mph), but it should bring the temps up to the mid 50's. I have spring flowers poking up in the gardens already! Hope we are not already into spring! We need more moisture, badly!

Hope you all have a good day today! Hugs from Colorado

Hello Ladies-My Sailor graduated Friday. All I can say is WOW! I thought I was proud when he graduated from college, but there was no comparison to how proud I felt at PIR. The first thing I said to him was that GOD and I did a good job in raising him (smile.)

He is now in Pensacola. He is probably still sleeping because my daughter-in-law and I have not heard from him as of yet, today. He had a bad cold.

Sherrill and Matt's Mom-Congratulations on the new daughters. My son got married just before going to bootcamp. He married his college sweetheart. They had been together for six years. My sailor is my only child, and getting a loving daughter is wonderful.

Joyce-How wonderful for your family! Oct. 7th is a great date. That is my son's birthday.

Have a great Sunday !!

I fly out to WA this afternoon to spend time with Matt and Charissa.  Looking forward to it.

MNM yes it is nice to gain a daughter by marriage.  I have 3 sons and one DIL,  She is always picking at my husband that she is our "favorite" DIL.  One of the first things Matt said is "Tell Sarah she has competition now for being the favorite".  We have two granddaughters and one grandson so the grandson says he is our "favorite" grandson.  Silly kids.

Chris and Hannah are looking at apartments. The most recent one they looked at is Park Towne Apartments in Norfolk. They have a website as most due. It looks nicer then most they have checked out and its in the price range they want. Sherrill you might want to let your son know and thanks for the well wishes same to you.
