Hi all. Things are moving very fast. Chris and Hannah are now engaged. Will do the courthouse thing in the next 2 weeks. she is due Oct 7. We have not even met her yet. They are apartment hunting and hope to get in by March 15th. They are talking about coming up to NY for the St.Pats weekend. Hoping to get the family together to meet my new Daughter! Having 3 sons that sounds so nice. When you get lemons you make lemonaide!! We will all do well with this new adventure. LIfe in the Navy seems to offer alot of surprises.

Morning! Happy Friday! We saw Jessi yesterday. We just sold the kids our 2001 VW Passat, who needs 4 vehicles anyway.  Hank has his Vette, a full sized work truck, I have my van and then we had the Passat too. It will be nice to know that they have a good reliable car!

Have a great day and super weekend...

  • Matt's Mom- Congratulations to your son and new daughter in law! B and his Fiance (now wife!) did the same thing while he was home for leave at Christmas. We are planning for friends and family next time he gets a chance to come home!

Good morning everyone!  It is foggy and drizzling in Texas this morning.  I know we needed the rain but this 90% every other day is making for a soggy mess.

On a good note I am flying out this weekend to visit my son in WA.  He and his fiancee decided to go to the courthouse and get married on Valentine's Day before he deploys.  They plan on having a big ceremony here after he returns.

Congratulations to your son and his new family Sherrill!

Sherrill- I know it takes awhile to unwind after such big festivities! Hope you get back on schedule soon. Just take one thing at a time.

I was a gymnast in high school! Small world! I loved it. I was not world class...I went to state as a one person team and beat several teams out! That is so neat that your son knows one of the cast members of Lion King!! The trip sounds like a blast for the three of them!
