Good Morning!! Wow! We have Thunder Snow here, but have never heard of anyone being hit by lightning this time of year! Summer is a whole different ball of wax though. Thankful that both sailors will be okay!
Spoke with Jessi, yesterday, both she and Abi have the crud! I was in town and had called to see about going for coffee. So I took her a bunch of goodies to help her feel better! Hank has had his head cold for what seems like forever. I wish he would get to the Dr, it is turning on him.
Reds- I heard this morning about the snow and accidents near Amarillo... Hope you were not near any of that mess!
Today is my Mom's 85th birthday! She is something else. A real pioneering spirit. She is the only woman I know who can take a 4lb ham and feed 9 people 5 meals with it!! She is simply amazing!!
Have a good one today!
Morning! Sherrill- thought of all of you at the wedding last evening! I am sure it was just wonderful! Blessings to the young couple as they start their new life together!!
3ds- I would say that having in your arms again for his 21st Birthday would be a great blessing to you as well!! Go for it!!
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
Good Afternoon my girlies.....trying to recover from a nasty stomach virus : ( will catch up with you gals later. hope you are all doing well.
Good Saturday! We have a light cover of snow and chilly temps today, in fact we have already hit our high of 20 today. I think that B picked up on my vibes yesterday, he called us early last evening! Sounds like he has gotten his new rate and married pay. That will sure help them! He is working hard and staying positive.
MNM- So good to hear that your daughter is off medical hold and is doing her thing again!! Wish it happens for B soon!!
Sherrill- Go for that bit off pampering today, you deserve it! Sounds like everything is going to be beautiful!! Give the Bride and Groom our very best wishes!!
kk- You can call me CC, it is what all of the others call me it sure makes it easier than typing it all out. Plus it keeps things less confusing because there are 2 Connie's!! Ha!
la/wa7- Welcome Aboard!!
Joshmom and SouthMississippiMom- Always good to hear from you!!
Have a great day everyone!
My son has just become a sailor. Passed Battlestations on Tuesday. PIR is Feb.17. I am so proud of him. He will be going to A school in Pensacola, Florida. His rating will be ATO (I guess this is the proper way to say his job...still learning.)
I am not sure what an ATO does. Is there someone who could point me in the right direction in order to find info about ATO? Thanks!
Hi kk, glad to hear your son is doing well.
Mine was undes for a peroid of time, took the "test" , assign to destroyer- left on deployment as an ATO. He is on the job training. I got call from him on my birthday, happy mom.
Good Morning Girls! Hey there KK! - Good to know your son is on his way now!! B is still in limbo at this time... Not sure where things will lead him at this point, haven't heard from him lately. Sure have had him on our minds!
Hope you all have a great Friday!
Morning Gals! Cindy, I hope you had a great snow day!
MNM- We have had snow and it was a nice amount but it came with cold temps as well. We are supposed to have quite a bit more sunshine today, but the highs only in the mid 30's, last night was just into the single digits. The snowiest months for us are Feb and March...
Have a good day all!!
