Welcome KK....saw you on the Norfolk page.  do you know yet if ATI or ATO?

Welcome kk! Wow sounds so exciting!

Sounds like we have lots of car enthusiasts! I was wrong about one thing on the hubby's Vette..not an anniversary edition, it is a 06, which makes it the last C4 body style. Either way it is his baby! If it were human and female, I might have to be jealous! lol

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, be safe and stay Proud!!

Me and my husband belong to a car club and go to shows or events practically every weekend.  We have made some really great friends.  Husband has an '03 Mustang Convertible (Cobra) and I have a 2004 Ford Lightning and an '07 Mustang GT.  My '07 is a daily driver and I love it.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey My Girlies, hope you all have a fantastically fun weekend!  i'll be out shopping for a new kitchen sink and faucet....aaaargh !

Sherrill- your weekend sounds like a blast! My SIL and BIL went on a big trip with the National Corvette club this past summer. They had a great time! Hank also has an anniversary edition Corvette... Do you drive your vehicles or do you trailer yours? Our BIL trailers all of his, he is a serious collector, has 5; one of which he stripped down to the bolts and rebuilt! He even keeps them in a climate controlled garage...totally fanatical. We bought ours to drive, and Hank loves to go cruising! It was his retirement present to himself, I got a new kitchen.

Hey Y'all.  Been out of contact for a while.  Finally getting back to normal.

@Sherril - I too enjoy older cars.  We need to get into a club. We have a 1970 Impala convertible and a not so old 1989 Camaro Convertible.  Be we love driving both and going to show.

Well, here it is. Its Friday again!  The high winds are back in Colorado for the next couple of days...Just finished replacing the shingles we lost in the last round and my wonderful hubby, the genius that he is; repaired the BBQ grill! He pounded out all of the dings and twisted metal, even replaced both of the broken doors! He tested it and all of the connections are good..I still haven't tried it yet and with the wind today being around 55 mph, I doubt it will be today!

Talked to B yesterday afternoon for a bit...He and his room mate had the Cruise Book from when his Dad was in, he wanted to know how long he was in and what his final rank was. Hank thought he was doing a research paper!  It was too funny and sweet! I love my guys!!!

Have a great day gals!

Texas reporting for Thursday afernoon muster.....

Glad Ryan has finished his cranking. Here's a "HooYah" for all our other Sailors who are cranking now!

Happy early Friday....I'm off tomorrow but will be working 3 days next week :(

Wow, Thanks for the heads up. I am sure will do his turn once he gets his first duty on board ship. He will need lots of moral support I am sure. Thankfully Hank, (my hubby) was Navy and probably will be his best supporter through it all! I am sure that his fiance( soon to be wife!) will hear most of it...maybe I will treat her to a Spa day after it all! :)

Thanks Cindy- I am still a long way from knowing all of the terms and Navy speak! Yeah, it sounds like the nasty jobs we all deal with on a regular basis at home. Right Moms? Do they do this for a week or is it longer than that?
